I've noticed that with the recent release of IPS 4.1.18 the converters got quite a few improvements. However there seems to be no import option from WBB (WoltLab Burning Board) or their latest WSC (WoltLab Suite Core + Apps). Are there any plans to add these to the converter in the (near) future?

I love the IP Content Databases, but I am not crazy about how it shows data fields that are less than desirable. So what do I mean, well I created almost 95% of the thousands of records in my IP Content Databases. However I don't want the credit for this. I created stub entries in my database, and when my members add information into those stub entries.......MY AVATAR and NAME show up! Here is an example.... As you can see I created this database record, and it shows my Avatar and Username, however if you drill into the Database record and look at the record...... As it says on the tin, why show the Secondary Nav Bar on mobile and tablet in portrait mode where links are not shown? Seems a bit odd and a waste of space.

When upgrading, there's a generic "We're sorry, this web site is unavailable while an update is in progress." message, which is fine. But if, during the update process, we could choose something: "Quick update, should be back by 10pm EST." "Big update in progress, could take a couple of hours." "Updating the site, don't forget to check out our other site othersite.com" That'd be cool.

Is there a way to enhance the marketplace experience by adding a shopping cart so more than one item can be purchased at a time? I ask this because sometimes if you buy several items one after the other singularly, your bank may query the transactions as being a possible fraud. By utilising a shopping cart it makes the experience easier and less likely for a report from your bank. It can be a real pain having to enter card details over and over when you want more than one item. Any chance of this happening, or is there a reason why it can't happen?

A feature that I’ve been needing for 3 years now is the ability to add 1 or more co-authors to a file so that the file appears on all of the authors file pages and they would split the commission equally between them. There’s an option to add a co-authors name but the files don’t appear on their profile and they don’t receive any of the money from sales. It seems there has been no more improvements to this at all in the last few years. Is it possible to make this happen? I know I’m not the only one who needs these features

You have the option not to delete the translation when we remove the application or plug-in. (Sometimes we remove to reinstall and we miss the translation.) To make it easier, it would be interesting to have one filter per application / plugin in the translation lists.

Hello, One of the new features of 4.2.2 is a new hard-coded, one-year limit to blocks in the Pages application. I understand this was done to improve performance, as limiting the amount of data you pull from the database server improves performance. The side effect of this new limitation is that our blocks now don't show all the information we need. For example, we have a block that lists our most popular articles, and with 4.4.2, this block only shows the most popular articles posted in the past 365 days instead of all times. I am soon launching my community and plan to sell subscriptions to our content database and forum. Some of these sales will be to individuals, but I am hoping to build a larger community by offering company-wide registration for only a bit more than an individual registration. The ability to have a master account which manages sub-subscribers would be great. As it stands now, if I sell one company subscription, I will have to manually manage the sub-accounts by hand and monitor if there is a cancellation of the master. I don't think there's a way to do this in IPS. Please correct me if wrong. Restrict Content Pro for Wordpress has this feature.

Hi! Due to many Facebook Security and privacy issues and concerns I would like to phase out the Facebook Login. I disabled the possibility to register with Facebook a long time ago. But we still have many users that do not have a password set and facebook the only oAuth2 Provider. My idea/wish is to be able to phase out a Login by forcing the user to set a login password when there is no password set and the Login provider is marked as "deprecated". Hi all, I am currently trying to edit the manifest file for my IPB instance. I have a self-hosted solution and will be trying to add support for a 3rd party notification system (iZooto). The solution seems to work well, but, their system needs me to add a value to the manifest.webmanifest file. If you are using HTTPS, this file seems to be generated automatically by IPB. Only problem is that I cannot add the required value to the file. If you add another manifest file to the website root folder (as required by some of these 3rd party apps), the values are ignored. Has anyone developed a mobile app for Invision forums? If not, I am willing to spend some capital to get it developed (if someone here can develop one) as I want my community members to be notified using a mobile app so that they can be notified while on the go and they don't need to log into the forum everytime?

This might be a bad idea I'm not really sure, however it is I think valid feedback so only appropriate I post it. 🙂 I found myself reading a multipage topic a short time ago and realising I was on the second page (this would apply to any topic really that spans multiple pages) , I wanted to click on the title text to go to the first page. Idea/Suggestion ----- Hope it hasn't been suggested already (Apologies if it has) So we are making Clubs/Groups the face of our Website and core feature But the bad part is that we had already started using Default Forums for topics It would be awesome to be able to delete Forums and move them to Club forums via acp instead of having to manually move them or use a plugin to do so Unless there is a way for us cloud users to do this or a plugin already made for this?? Every other WYSIWYG editor I know of either forces a pasted link to open in a new window (mostly email clients) or gives you the option to choose this. There is a universal setting to force this for external sites, which is nice, but as someone who wants internal (from subdomain.root.com to root.com) links to open in a new window, there is no option. Please add this feature!

I made a suggestion about hiding profiles for banned members a couple of months ago, but I want to expand on that suggestion. I can't edit the topic any longer. Currently, the options for banned members are limited and a lot of the cleanup has to be done manually after the ban is given. A more automated task system for banning members would be great. When a member is receiving a warning with an indefinite ban attached, the following should be optional tasks for the system to run automatically: Hide or delete all content automatically (similar to mark as spammer) Hide their profiles/display an error screen stating the profile is not available when a m…

I was visiting Live Leak and noticed what they did with the theme changer option. Appears a better location for this feature because it's in the profile drop down menu and being there seems to make more sense. Even putting it into the user bar after login. Your profile menu already contains the things needed for your personalized user experience. Makes a user experience more personalized by including it their area instead of at the bottom on every page/app Tidys up the apps/pages Quicker access to change a theme by being in a more sensible place. I add messages quite often to downloads files that I cannot approve. I will notify the member letting them know why I have not approved it. It was recently brought to my attention that the mention system isn't notifying members as it should when used inside a message box. HELP!
