Will a language translation that was updated for 4.0.5. work properly on 4.0.6+ or will it need to be updated?! I would like to add French as a language to my site but the most recent one available in the marketplace is for 4.0.5. Can some clever person please advise on this?

Hello I hope my question is not to vague, and I also hope this is the correct place to ask this So the community who I administrate wants to integrate just the IPB forums into there wordpress site. Meaning they will be using Wordpress for there day to day activities but when they click on the forums link it will take them to the IPB site i set up for that purpose. My question is since they would like this process to be seamless i would need to setup some sort of SSO where WP would be the Master and IPB being the slave (or so i assume). Can anyone direct me to a guide or give me some general knowledge on how this would be setup, as i am clueless on how to configure SSO. …

I am trying ipb 4 since a couple of days and it looks incredible. Right now I am using in my production site ipb 3 and I have many custom scripts between forum and my website. What I would like to ask you it is regarding how can I get the information in my website of the user who is logged in the ipb4 forum. Just a question. The custom databases / pages created through the Pages application... would the content posted in the databases be optimized for SEO + generated in the sitemap? Would it be better to create a sub-forum where topics / entries posted in the databases go straight to the forum so that its SEO'd?

After updating to 3.4.8, users using their phones are no longer able to login via the mobile version of my forum. Even selecting the 'full version' button no longer works, so they cannot use the full site version and login that way. Strangely, those using an iPad can log-in via the mobile version and can select full version without issues.

My upgrade to 4.0.0 was a disaster. I have been holding out for what was hopefully a stable release, 4.0.6.1. I'd have support do the upgrade, but I suspect they are very busy with all of the errors people continue to get. Plus, they make you verify that you backed everything up and then they'll do your upgrade for you, I believe in a day or two. How do people manage that? Do you take your site offline until support is done? That doesn't seems feasible. Anyhow, I got the files from the link in my ACP. Then I got this error will upgrading: Now I'm uploading the whole package from the site, if that fails too I'll have to restore from my backups, then I guess wait…

I've had this issue since switching to 4.0 with mobile, in that the text editor seems to keep a memory. For instance, if I choose to quote a post, the last 3 or 4 things I quoted before will show in the text editor. Or, if I create a new reply, the first few words from my last reply will show up when the text editor opens up. Anyone else have similar experiences?

I thought that I saw this somewhere, but I can't find it. My calendar events are all off by 1 day on v 4.0.4. Example, Memorial Day is showing as today May 24th, not tomorrow May 25th. Has anyone fixed this globally?

current running a 3.4.8 board with several mods set up a test 4.0.6.1 (before upgrade) and the base install (forum / gallery / nexus) set up a rss import just to fill with posts and 2 members (its just to test mods) now I cant seem to fine the setting / plugin or application for these 1) Gallery slider across top of forum 2) who's online in footer area 3) forum statistics ive installed the odd plugin some seem to work and well some, even though say enabled dont or need further work edit etc i'm sure its just a case of needing to be pointed in right direction -any hints. ideas etc?

4.0.5 - 14 May 2015 Enhancements to the efficiency of file storage and management. This will require many background tasks to run that may take time to finish. Your Suite will work fine while they are completing.^^ Does this require that i do something in the ACP if so how?
