Hello, I did like to add a mysqli request, in a database. So I can create this request in a custom block, then I add this block in the template. The problem is that I need the record's id, as a parameter for the sql request. How can I do that, please ?

My users are having issues since the 4.x upgrade where they click to reply to a post or create a new topic and 30 seconds will pass before the action completes. I didn't have this issue on 3.x and my server resource utilization is very low. Is there a setting or something I should look into?

The title says it all, I completely misunderstood this portion of the 4.0 upgrades and now our entire community shows emails as default display names, is there anyway to do a global change to show the old display names instead of emails? Thanks for any help.

I'm using IP 4 and I have a video thread at my forums, with alot of videos in it by members, and it loads slow, is there anyway to only load specific videos as needed, like spoiler tag but something that actually prevents the other videos from loading in the background. I'm using spoiler tags but the videos still load behind the spoiler tags regardless, is there any option available? Thanks

Like the tital says i need help i put a support ticket in nearly 24 hours ago had not reply, I have followed these step,s for download link but there is no download link, You can download your software from the client area. Once logged in, select "Purchases" from the left-side menu and then click on your license and then on the "Download IPS Community Suite" button. Choose which add-ons you would like to install and then click the "Download" button. I have followed these instruction but no download link could someone from the staff team please help or someone from the community, as im stuck now till i get a reply and link many thanks in advance to the people that reply

Hello, my question is if there is a possibility to not have in every page filename a "/" at the end of URL. I like to set up .html in the filename at the end and as you can imagine whenever i enter the page i've added i see in a browser URL: www.mypage.com/articles.html/ instead of www.mypage.com/articles.html. Another question is if there is a setting for Friendly URL's that allows me to set camelcase URLs (ex. a page with URL www.mypage.com/Best-Articles.html). Actually whenever i try to save a page with CamelCase URLs it changes my url to lower case.

hi When I am in general configuration i cannot change the physical address. I am presented with the idea to either add a full address or to leave fields blank ( the latter I am choosing to do) However when i click to save it simply reverts back to a US address in Alabama My site and location will only be operating in the UK but there is no way it will let me change this. Any ideas please? thanks

I currently have two issues with Commerce that are preventing me from launching my new site. I have a ticket open for these issues but IPS are incredibly slow to respond so I'm hoping someone else might've had these issues or simply knows how to fix them. 1: When attempting to refund paid invoices, I get this error: I'm not sure where to look in terms of getting a more detailed description. Refunding donations instead of product purchases works perfectly fine using the same payment gateway, so I'm confident the gateway is not at fault. In the Feature Plan items were ordered by their field type. Items classed as "Up Next", with the field value 1, were at the top of the list, followed by "Coming Soon" (= 2) and "Planning Stages" (= 3). Once an item was finished, its field was changed to "Completed" (= 4) and it moved to the bottom. Something similar seems to be the case with Release Notes. The IDs in order are 17, 4, 15, 5, 6, 7, 8 ... How is this ordering pulled off, given that we don't have much in the way of options? Is it just the case that they're ordered by published time (which will usually correspond with record ID) and then the published time is later edited to determine the new position? Or is…
