Will Munny
Forums sites are dynamic i.e. not suitable for Cloudflare. Best you can do is set up a CDN subdomain, put your cacheable resources into that, and point it at Cloudflare. For example, serve up your images and css from http://cdn.exampleforum.com
Shanai
I used cloudflare for the past several years for my IPS forum. No problem at all. It reduced bandwidth usage (saving), increase a bit of speed and filter some level of attack. What most important is I don't want to expose the IP address of my server, so additional security advantage.I just use the standard setting. If you use the paid account, there will be some more additional features. However there are some beta features which is 'Mirage' and 'rocket loader' which I didn't recommend you to use because it is not stable and can caused problem with javascript and ajax. I tried those on drupal website.
