I'm getting the following error when trying to upgrade to the latest build. Any suggestions as to what I need to tweak to overcome this? Row size too large. The maximum row size for the used table type, not counting BLOBs, is 8126. This includes storage overhead, check the manual. Hi, We have had to disallow Hotmail addresses for the timebeing as it seems they keep blocking entire subnets for our hosting provider. (Digital Ocean) I want to change the messaging end users see in relation to this when they try to join as to be more helpful but it appears there's no language translation options for "Please specify an alternative email address" - Any ideas? Ideally I don't want to modify the theme templates as it could easily be forgotten about during future upgrades etc. Thank you

No matter what I do to try to fix it, the "accept" and "reject" buttons are redirecting the user to the home page. Super annoying, how do I fix it? I am updated to the latest version of invisioncommunity so that's not the solution.

Since the most recent update, I've noticed that a user who is confronted with the cookie consent form will have their browser redirect to the community's set home page (in my site's case, the forum index) after clicking the 'Accept' or 'Reject' button, regardless of what page they encountered the consent form at. For example, a user who may click a link to a Pages record (from say, a tweet we posted) will see the cookie consent form at the bottom of the Pages record they are viewing. They may instinctively click 'Accept' or 'Reject' to get rid of the consent bar before reading any of the text. The browser then takes them to the forum index instead of keeping them on …

Hi everyone, the upgrade fails to start I did a hosting move and took the opportunity to upgrade my license and be able to upgrade my version 4.7.4 to the current 4.7.18. In question, the forum continues online in its version 4.7.4 but after copying all the files via ftp, or making a clean copy of the entire version 4.7.18, it accepts to start the upgrade, but when it shows the start bar, it can be 12 hours, without doing anything or advancing to the end. I'm trying to create a registration process where to-be members actually see our guidelines before agreeing to them and then, once they've finished the registration process they can only post in our New Members Start Here folder. But I've not figured out how to accomplish that. On the guidelines, the process gives them a box they can tick to say they agree, but they don't have to see the guidelines unless they click the Terms Of Use link, as shown below. Is there a way to have the guidelines pop up each time? Second, the Login & Registration page, below, says new members will be put in the Members group. Hello -- For the last hour, no new account created (about 20) has confirmed their email with with the registration validation email. I have been looking at all the different settings in the Control Panel and I can't figure out how to remove the option for some membership groups to add files for download to the Download section. If I can't turn it off for some membership groups, how do I turn off the whole download section of the forum? New and a little overwhelmed by all the settings!

Hi, When you go there and click on page 2 or any page or use the arrow next key, nothing will happens, you have to refresh the browser to see it. It even on IPS site here, same issue.

Creating a separate thread in case it's unrelated to this: Someone requested that their account be deleted, and so an admin set that going. As this was being processed in the background, it seems to have got stuck (~23% of 9k posts). This has caused the queue task to be locked every time it tries to run, once a minute. A LOT of other tasks are getting backed up because of this (mostly notifications, so far) and it's getting worse over time. This morning I look at my site in my usual Chrome browser, and it looks like this: I visit invisioncommunity.com and it looks like this: The two sites look fine in Safari on my Mac, or even in Chrome on another Mac. After I go to my ACP and clear system cache, not only my site but also invisioncommunity.com display correctly. I wonder what could be triggering this issue?

I am running a small campaign on my community and am asking my users to post images to gallery whilst using a specific tag (so I can find them when searching). It appears that non-admins do not have the ability to use tags on Gallery, even if user groups have been granted access via AdminCP > Members > Groups > [Group] > Content > "Can use tags". There appears to be no other option in AdminCP (or anywhere else in the suite) to allow regular members/usergroups to add tags to content posted in the Gallery app. I have tried logging in as regular users to see if they didn't miss anything, but the tagging feature simply isn't available to them.
