So I got my app done via facebook and my account synced in to be able to use the facebook profile picture and that worked fine. When I try to synced in my wife account I get this error: App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions. is there like a few days wait before the app works for everyone?

I would our admins to be able to view the changes by our moderators only, and not have our members edits in the moderator logs. It gets a bit confusing and I start doubting who we made moderators or not on our forums due to this. Is there anyway to sort actual moderator changes from members who edit there posts? i.e: Have a separate list for normal member edits and one for actual moderators?

Any idea on how i can set a default member group depending on which option they select in Custom Profile Field during registration ? For e,g Registration page -> select box -> server names as values -> selects chicago as the value -> forum assigns him to chicago member group is this possible ?

I was purchasing the $200 version of IPB and it told me I needed to wait a little while to get it approved. Within that time I realized I needed to pay for other things, so I went back to the pending order and cancelled it. The next day, $200 was still taken out of my paypal and I haven't heard from IPB since (this was 2 days ago). Is there any hope of a refund ASAP? I did not even touch the license or anything I have purchased yet. I need to wait a few weeks before I can afford IPB again.

Hoping someone can help me edit the globalTemplate to show a different header on the homepage than every other page. I have a large image on the home page, but don't want to burden the members with having to look at it on every other page. I was thinking a conditional if statement like: if homepage, then HTML for header, else minimal header with just a logo

I've bought a translation-pack for my language, but not all Apps have been translated, so I thought I'd start fixing that. However, when I try to translate a "browse" key in "System" and save it, it reverts as soon as I reload the tab I'm working in and if I do not reload the tab and it says "saved", it still doesn't update on my forum. Has anyone run into a similar issue? Any known fix or advice?

In one of my Pages database I have a field type set to member. I would like to use some custom formatting when outputting it, such that it looks like this: The problem is that I can't use the usual $member object which features in other template, because then it would provide the details of the user logged in, not the user reading the record. I've made some changes using the $formValue, which has got my link going to the correct profile. But I'm lost in other parts of the code because it involves properties of the $member object. I am considering finally breaking down and upgrading to 4.1 I was wondering if anyone had tips on making it smoother (I will be letting IPS do the upgrade for me) I have for example old plugins that I don't think have new versions (Ticket Systems, FAQs, (HQ)Awards, etc) do I turn them off before the upgrade? What about dealing with the skin which will break? Looking for any guidance from those who have done it to try and make the transition as smooth as it can be recognizing some things will likely break.

I disabled profile photo uploads for members and can't seem to get them back. I as an admin have access, but the member group does not. I've checked the group settings and they match my admin settings. Are there any other settings I may have changed to take the option away? I can't remember exactly what I changed when I disabled uploads.

Hello, I just enabled the Gallery application but I am a little confused about how it works. I created a category, an album inside it and uploaded a photo to the album. If I access with another user account and click on the Gallery tab I see the album I created and the picture I uploaded. I'd like to use this app so that each user can load his or her photos. They should be visible by other users, but there should not be a shared category to which everyone contributes. How can I do it?

My question is how do I create a page and then add forum content to those pages. LIke i have already setup the forum, but want certain forums in different pages. I hope that makes sense. The Release Notes template is beautiful but there's a little bit of room for improvement. On small screens, the record listing is displayed above the frame where the record content is loaded. As far as your phone user is concerned, nothing is happening when they click on the record. They don't get to see the loading graphic like larger-screen users do. Since clicking on the name of a record usually takes the user to the display template, they're left to the conclusion that nothing is happening when they click, unless they know otherwise. Hello can anybody recommend best practices for tags for DFP google for targeting mobile devices? (i.e. how to put the tags of line items that target mobile devices) asking this since i know the themes at 4. are responsive, (i have enabled the setting) so what does this change on how/where to put the tags when you want to have some deliver to mobile devices and some to desktop? for example what do you do with a billboard 970x250 tag at the responsive theme? do you target the line item /dfp tag only do desktop ? When a user links an external image, I use the imageproxy system. But when you delete the image or the entire message, the image don´t remove from the server in uploads/imageproxy folder.

Hello, recently , my block sidebar, used during customization when signed in as admin, isnt working correctly now.
