We had two members that we merged. Let's call them MemberA and MemberB. MemberA had a community reputation of X, MemberB had a community reputation of Y (via likes on posts). We ran the member merge process from the AdminCP with the settings "Merge MemberB into MemberA, then delete Member B". After it completed, MemberA then had a reputation of X, rather than what I would have expected which is X+Y. Further, every like on every post ever made by MemberB disappeared (which explains why their reputation wasn't adjusted). Now the question is... if MemberB's posts are now "owned" by MemberA, should those "likes" not still remain on those posts, and ther…

Hello, I accidentally deleted a subforum off my site and now I can't access the threads I had inside them, yet they're still visibile in the recent topics, activity stream, and on my profile, but when I click on it I get this error: Sorry, there is a problem You do not have permission to view this content. Error code: 2S136/V Anyone know how I can recover it or delete it fully if I can't? Because it's still showing around the forum, but just can't access it. I am also the full owner of the site.

Hello all, When I first installed IPS 4.x on my website, I was a bit overwhelmed with how to properly setup the IP.Pages database and store my records. Now that ALL of my records are stored on just 1 records database, I am somewhat limited as to how to manipulate and display the records on different pages. With this being said, I am wondering if it's possible to select some records and move them from my current records database to a new records database? I was able to in effect disable the"Leaderboard" by hiding it via the menu manager, but "days won" still shows up on profile page. Does anyone know how to get this field off the visible profile?

From some time after the ipb4 upgrade i get a lot of 404 from attachment files. after further inspection i have tracked the issue to not renamed files, they do exist with attach_file instead of attach_location. I want to make a script to walk core_attachments and rename files not renamed, since i do have both parameters. I just see that no one cant register on my forum (v4.1.19) it says Error after submit from registration form.. Sorry, there is a problem Something went wrong. Please try again. Hi, When I tried to move everything over to S3 before Christmas it failed an broke all the links to images on my forums. I have been having to upload them in 50/100 blocks. when I get chance. There are 100,00+ images... Amazon s3 has recently updated the way that you can upload to the buckets. this is great as the bulk uploader seems to be working now and I can send in 1/2GB of files at a time without trouble. I have a question though. Do i need to set the permissions for these files to be read only? I never had this option before but now its giving me the choice. Thanks, Ben

If I want to embed a video player in separate locations for mobile and desktop how do I accomplish this? I have a video player embed on my site but I can only figure out how to do it in 1 spot for both mobile & desktop. I would like to embed it just above the footer for desktop and just below the header on mobile. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Everybody After switching my community to httpS I have faced the following problem: a lot of advertisers have complained that they got no more visits from my community. I found in the internet that browser does not transfer the referral if the transfer is from https->http website. It is possible to deal with this issue by adding the following code to the link (?utm_source=example.com&utm_referrer=example.com). This force analytics (google, yandex etc.) to see the source of visit. This solution is easy to be done with banners, but I could not just correct all the links in all the topics like that. Hi I am wondering if anyone knows how to completely remove the remember me feature to save a person from logging in everytime. I have custom access that only fires/triggers upon login which means if someone stops paying for use in my forum, their access will be removed but only upon logging in again, therefore I need disable allowing them to "remember me" Any insight would be appreciated.

V4.1.19 I've recently had installed V4.1.19 and also the useful add-on which displays users real names against all their posts. But I've now lost the registration requirement for people to supply their real names. This was useful in detecting spammers, and longer term to have newer members' real names included against all their posts. Is there any way to re-instate this? Thanks in advance

Hi, Just wondering if anyone using an iPad is experiencing problems with the text editor, specifically in that when you select a range of text or select all, then click on the font size option, it immediately deselects the select text, so it has no effect when you change the font size? It happens here as well as my own sites, but the other options like font color, bold etc work fine. I have an iPad 3 using iOS 9.3.5 and Safari. Going to try it using Chrome. Update: Same problem confirmed using Chrome on iPad, it immediately deselects the text and changing the font size has no effect.

Can anyone shed any light on this error I keep getting. I was updating my test forum when I got a blank screen. I am now no longer able to install a fresh or upgrade my forum at all without seeing this error. All the files are there. I have tried on a different server and it worked fine. However as its a test forum, there is no support and I can only host it on the one site. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello, After upgrading to 4.1.19. When moving topics I can choose to stay in the topic that I am moving or stay in the forum I am moving the topic from. No matter what I choose I land in the forum I am moving the topic from. I moved 5 topics and that happened every time. Anyone else experience the same?
