Hi, is there a way, that guests also can see Clubs und depending on permissions read topics and posts? This would be very helpful to promote the Clubs, so that people who are not member can especially decide to become a member, because of clubs. I have some great ideas to promote this feature. Mark

I want the header to display when the user scrolls up so they don't have to scroll all the way to the top, if they want to access the menu. I'm having issues with pagination. When I move to the next page with the pagination at the bottom, my header appears and covers the pagination at the top. How can I tell the page to load the next page with more margin at the top to allow the header to be displayed there? Is that a setting somewhere in CSS?

Hello ! ) I'm trying to make the link for the "Links Directory" app appear in the main menu for guests, but I can't make it... It appears for logged in members only (it's been like that for a long time and now I want to allow guest seeing it too). => I've checked the guests group's permissions in ACP/Membres/Groups/Permissions and it's ok (both "See category" and "View links" are checked). => I've also checked ACP/Links/Categories/Permissions and it's ok too for all categories (guests translater is invite) : => I've checked ACP/System/Menu manager and I see the link does appear in the Main menu. But it doesn't appear for guests. …

I have just updated our development/test site to 4.2.0 but upon doing that, the blocks/widgets have disappeared. When I open up the Block Manager, they re-appear until I click "Finish Editing" at which point they disappear. I have tried removing & re-adding them. Something simple I'm sure. - any suggestions? Hi all, Im trying to figure the best way to do this. I have pages as the main page to post articles, and I use the forums for comments. From what I understand the forum just mirror the articles ? so I have the same content twice ? Because as it is now, if I post an article the link is example.com/articles/title and the mirrored is example.com/forums/topic.5/title both have the same content and comments Isn't that bad for seo? or is not something to worry about? if it is should I exclude the articles pages from google bots or any other tips ?

Since upgrading to 4.2, if I set anything to show on the postbit on 4.2, it won't show no matter what. Not even Awards or anything. Has the code changed? Has IPS disabled anything from showing there?

I upgraded to 4.2 and i have a IPS_Focus theme that uses a large background image, sinds the upgrade it seems that this image isn't cached anymore. At IPS_Focus they say that it works on their side so it's probably some caching setting in IPS or the server at Invision. It slows down the rendering and the forum so is there something i could do about it?

How do you change the name of applications and how they appear on the front end? For example, I do not want "Blogs" to be called blogs I want it to be called "Sections". I don't want "Clubs" to be called Clubs, I want them to be called "Teams" in my community. Nevermind, I found where you can make this change. If anybody else is looking for this it is in the "Languages" in ACP.

Hello, I'm using Invision Community v4.2.0 Beta 7a. Most forum pages (themes, profiles), sending messages, creating themes is very slow. I turned off the Ajax polling, enabled storage through mysql and enabled memached caching. In the end, this did not help me. I had two plug-ins installed, I turned them off-it did not help. I have created a club for Moderators and added all the Admins & Moderators as members. Root Admin's can access the "Topics" tab, but no one else can, it generates an error Sorry, there is a problem We could not locate the item you are trying to view. Error code: 2F176/1 I've searched the ACP and the Club itself but cannot find a permission set wrongly. Any help gratefully received (I have Club Enhancements installed, but get the error weather it is enabled or not)
