I have a forum topic, and the posts within that don't appear to be sync'd correctly. It's the only topic on the entire forum (our DB is over 15G) that is behaving this way. When viewing the forum_topics table, it has the last_post as the 50th post, but there are at least 25+ more after that. When viewing the forum_posts which are attached to the forum_topics ID table, all of the posts are present. Is there a way to force a re-sync of all the tables so that posts re-appear on the topics that they should be appearing on? (FWIW, I've already used the support tool and disabled all customizations and nothing was fixed/changed).

Struggling with using the IPS image galleries on my site. ( I'm a firefighter, not a tech guru, and my laptop senses my frustration and is starting to fear the axe. haha ) 1) Is it possible to create a gallery images using just the "record images" from a database? So as new entries are made, the record image from the new entry would be automatically added to the gallery. I've tried using 3rd party slider widgets, but not really what I'm after. I want to automatically pull only the images that were designated as record images into a gallery. 2) Is there a way to create a user gallery per member, that is attached to the member profile? Is it possible to split posts to a different topic and keep that topic's original post intact? Case: Topic 1 has off topic discussion. Moderator creates Topic 2, with an OP of "Discussion of <offtopic>" Moderator moves posts from Topic 1 to Topic 2. Moderators OP is now at the bottom of the thread, due to chronological timestamp. Is it possible to get Moderator's OP on the topic at the top? Does this require DB edit?

Hi, the european directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) is starting on 25.05.2018. So it is a big problem, if IP adresses are saved in database. We need an option, that IP adresses in database are deleted after 7 days oder that IP adresses are not saved at all. Thanks in advance! Mark

I've just upgraded to 4.3 beta and I can't get into my admin and I'm thinking its due to a 3rd party plugin/application. Is there a way I can disable the apps outside of the Admin area? We are getting an error when uploading an image from an iPhone Photo Library to a forum post. The file uploads with the status bar going all the way to the end after which the following error pops up. It was working fine before so not sure what's happening.

I need some help to make the look of my downloads better, currently because of the extra fields we need the sidebar looks terrible and is difficult to read, is there a way I can place the extra fields into the main body rather than the side bar? or alternatively could somebody make a plugin that would do this?

Do the comments from pages link with the comments from the forum? I'm noticing when a comment is made for an article it doesn't show in the forum and comments made in the forum doen't show under article comments.

When doing member queries, the CustomFields response property seems to be improper JSON. API Documentation says it should be returned as an Array of objects, however both the customFields property and the Fields property seems to be coming back as an object with numeric properties rather than array indices. Is this a known issue? Any work around?

In IPS 3, there was a tool where you could use the admin web UI to bulk import files from a directory. Downloads > Tools > Bulk Import From Directory Was that removed in IPS4? If so, please bring it back, and soon. I routinely import large amounts of files. Are there alternative ways to do this in IPS 4 besides manually filling out forms?

So I am just getting into playing with the REST API. I know how to request a specific page from the results list in the query, and I know how to walk the array to get the event information I'm after. However if I don't specify a specific page in the query can I change pages in the results? For example: Array( [page] => 1 [perPage] => 25 [totalResults] => 161 [totalPages] => 7 [results] => Array Is there a way to iterate through page one events 1-25, then iterate through page 2, etc. without having to re-query?

Please advise - is there any way I can change sorting within database categories for Pages? Whatever I set for the database itself works only for the page it's embedded in but when I enter the category entries are sorted by record ID - and I want to set default as "publication date" everywhere. If it needs a workaround in the database please tell me where can I find this because I've looked in admin panel and nothing works. @opentype maybe you can advise please? Thank you in advance for help regarding this. I want to dump Wordpress and switch entirely to IPB but that's an important obstacle to overcome.

Don't know if this is a bug or what but I turn the board offline to install a new skin, install the skin mark it as the default front end theme and check the offline status in the ACP and the button is now green again and the board is online even though I don't want it online yet as I want to check everything out before going live? Why is it automatically turning itself back online? If I remember right it also did this behavior when I upgrade to the newest versions. Thanks

Hi, i'm new with managing a forum. I'm trying to change the url, but I still got the error : There seems to still be a installation of Invision Community at the URL on file. Before you can change the URL, you must first remove the existing installation. Should I remove the entire board? It seems a big job just for a url update... Thanks, Alex

Damn, i did something stupid. I merged an old topic to the new one..... Wrong way this old topic is very populair on google. Now the topic is gone and i wish i could undo this. I think you cant undo a merge. So i need to redirect the old URL to the new topic id / URL. How can i do this?! Hope there is someone with a Solution..... Regards!
