Hello After upgrading the forum to PHP Version 7.4.3 something happen to the scrolling smoothing. It's like if you are trying to scroll down or up, it's very very slow, and unresponsive. It starts to happen immediately after the upgrade and happens only in the Chrome browser and only from the desktop. Everything works great before the upgrade. We tried to reset the server, but it didn't help. Try to do clear cookies and cache in my station, still no luck. Any idea?

Hi all, Earlier today I updated my local dev PC to IPS 4.6.6. I then exported a custom theme to test it on a live site updated to 4.6.6 from the same previous version. ( IncIdentally, I found it had included some html templates from a completely different theme again. ) I noticed each time I manually upload this theme into my live 4.6.6 site and look at the theme html templates, it claims I've modified templates which I've definitely not touched. If I click to see the comparison with the default version of the template, it is empty, which can't be right, so I haven't reverted them in case they break. How does Commerce handle situations where a client purchases say 10 items of the same product at once? I see that I can add the dimensions and weight PER item and Commerce will calculate shipping via EasyPost based on this but it will estimate the same amount of shipping for 1 item vs an order of say 10 items. This obviously would be wrong. Is there a setting for this? I checked but nothing really stood out. If combined shipping is not allowed, this would be a deal breaker for me. =(

Hi, I've long wanted to capture posts or cross posts to MS teams, Slack and other places. Integromat looks like a solution but I can't for the life of me figure out how to add a connection. Is there any documentation for this ? I searched but couldn't find it. Thanks for the help.

I came across this issue when I try to upgrade to 4.6.7 if you are sure the files have been uploaded correctly, make sure the permissions are set correctly on them. .../applications/core/extensions/core/Notifications/Content.php

My forum is: http://www.billikens.com/forum When I click the messages icon then compose new message, I can enter a username and title of the message, but a body text box to write the message does not appear. Hello there, My community works fine but at random times, probably every 10 to 20 minutes, I get the following errors: [[Template core/front/global/footer is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] And I end up locked out because I can't even access the admin area... It goes back to normal after 5mins, but I wonder what can be causing it? Caching is disabled. (not only "footer template" fails... Suddenly all templates seem to fail)

Hello When users post from the safari browser, the syntax ends and jumps to the following line in the middle of the page. Every other browser syntax presented ok.It happens in all the themes, including the default one. Does IPB doesn't compatible with the Safari browser? Google Chrome (ok) Safari (not ok)

I just got a renewal invoice for one of my communities. I am forgetting about the recent change announcement in billing. Can please clarify how long this subscription/renewal is good for? Is it just 6 months again or is it 12 months? I noticed the amount is larger than previously and I do remember something about a price increase, but I dont remember if the renewal period is changing or not.

Hello, I'd like to know if there is a way to restrict certain admins or admin group from having access to the "Sign in as..." tool. Our community is rather large and we have two admin groups, and we don't want admins from one of these groups to have access to this tool. Please advise. Cheers.

I have a custom database in Pages which shows items in the approval queue in ModCP. I can't work on these items because they are actually approved and shown on my page. I'm in the admin group with all permissions, still I can't approve the items. Frankly speaking, I have no idea how the were put on that queue in the first place. I have a very small community and automatic moderation etc. is off. Could you give me a hint how I can clear this queue? I have more custom databases but this is the only one where I have items in the queue.

How do I update my forum from v4.1.11.1 to the latest version on GoDaddy shared hosting and from FTP and Database backups? I was on an old hosting account that didn't have high enough version pf PHP and MySQL and wasn't able to keep updating as new version became available. So now I'm trying to do a fresh install to the latest version of the forum software on GoDaddy shared hosting plan. Just need to know how to do it. Been a long time since I've done anything, so I need a lot of help! 😀

Hi Guys My support tickets seem to have vanished from the Client Area. I have always used this link https://invisioncommunity.com/clientarea/ It shows me as logged in but there are no tickets there plus the option to add a new one has gone too. Am I still in the correct place or is there a specific url for tickets now?

I've been locked out of my test installation, which is strange because I'm sure that I had the right password saved in my browser but after the very first login attempt I get a message that I've been locked out and try again in 14 mins. This doesn't seem to expire. Is there a way to tweak a value or something on the file or SQL level to reset this so I can at least verify/change the password? Thanks! EDIT: problem solved

Had to roll MySQL back from a backup recently, and the forums came up, but getting various DB errors--particularly when trying to upgrade to v4.6.7 In particular, the upgrade fails with a '[myforumname].core_anonymous_posts' doesn't exist Any idea how to recreate/fix this? -Pete Possibly relevant: my other forum, which had not been upgrade to 4.6 previously, does not have this issue.
