I've installed an application that was outdated and has caused a lot of errors with the forum I cannot access the admin cp to remove the application due to "[[Template core/admin/global/globalTemplate is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]" Any help? I don't have forum backups. Should backup my database and reinstall invision? I created a ticket because I'm changing server my domain name is changing to a new IP address but the forum is in the root (www) not in the "forum" folder now and I have license key test in this IP at the moment. The new /ip install has a test license key and the old one has my license, I have "Invalid license key" because I moved the "/ips" folder to the root (to solve the main page bug and other) on the test server which will become my main site . I find it extremely complicated to change the license urls even by creating a ticket, the site transfer is more complicated options to make the changes automatically by writing the new urls or deleting the test one …

Hi Guys Just a small issue that maybe you can help me with. I'm a cloud customer and have a Google Analytics account but when I enable the integration in the Invision Admin CP my Google Analytics i.d. appears in the top left hand corner of the site. Anyway to stop that from happening?

MrsSurvival.com I ran the last update. The site gave this error message: The owner asked about a few things not working right. There is a long list of error messages in the logs, during and after the last update, and an error notification in Admin. I clicked on the “fix”, but it did absolutely nothing. Our only hook is the Chat Box. It is displayed on your Default Theme, before logging in. After logging in it is no longer displayed. And the tab, to enter the chat area, displays, “you do not have permission”.

I have just migrated my site to a new server/hosting provider. The person who assisted me in migrating my site to IPS last year set up my site on a domain name not registered to me; therefore, I now want the IPS software I purchased to be licensed/connected to the domain name that I own. Please let me know what I need to do in order to make this change.

I'm trying to upgrade to 4.6.11, it was running smoothly until it completely stopped at this point. Trying Retry or Continue just brings back the same thing. I closed the page, logged in again and resumed the upgrade, but still the same result. To note, this is a manual upgrade.

Hi, I have a technically very (very-very) inexperienced customer. He will host his community in IPS Cloud. No domain so far. He is afraid that he will not be able to set up the domain to point it to IPS Cloud. He asks me where to register the domain. From your own experience, can you name a domain provider (providers), whose configuration of the A records, MX records, DKIM, and whatever is needed has the least hassle? Would you recommend one, or is it completely irrelevant which provider he takes? Thanks.

I'm having an issue currently whenever hooks.php gets generated it errors out the website with a 500 error. The problem will usually show: [12-Mar-2022 07:17:10 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot declare class IPS\<plugin name>, because the name is already in use in /public_html/init.php(913) : eval()'d code on line 12 replacing <plugin name> with every application/plugin if I rename the folder for each plugin I'm unable to find which plugin/application is causing this issue and not sure how to proceed on fixing this.

I've lost my site as of about 2pm March 23 2022. I'm not sure what happened but the site is no longer functional. I can't access even the Admin folder (acp). Folder and files are all present but produce blank pages. I even try rolling back to a older backup last night to see if that would fix missing data or something (had my hosting company handle this). No luck. I do have a current backup of March 23 when it failed. Also what is this about my current plan not including email support. Previously I did pay for priority support in the past. (Scratching my head)

Is it possible to have access to the files uploaded through my download app on the AWS server? A big part of my community is downloadable content and sharing with partner sites is important. It would be better for one of our partners if we could share a presigned URL link to content from the AWS server.

Is there a limit on the number of words that can be imported via XML? I have a list of about 1735 words. It will error out after a while. I got an error message saying something to the effect of you do not have permission to do that. Most of them were imported. I made a second list of the remaining and imported the rest. Just wondering if this is a bug or as designed. The error message was a little scary however, like it was a bug. The message said something about m_exact and that I did not have permission to do that. Other than this, I just had to import the remaining.

Sometime in the past hour, my community became completely unavailable. Whenever I try to access it via a desktop browser, I see absolutely nothing on screen. From MS Edge on my iPhone I see: "ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED" I've tried restarting httpd and mysqld. I've never seen this problem before. HELP!

Hosted site running 4.6.11 We have had a number of users contact us saying they cannot add any more attachments as they have reached their limit. Site is running as unlimited attachments as seen in screenshot. Is there a physical number of files (this user has 997) or is this a bug..?

Hello, when I visit my board as a guest I have my logo displayed in the header. As soon as I am logged in the Logo dissapears and I have text instead of logo. Can I change this so that the logo always displays? Mike

Hi, if someone clicks sign up instead of sign in by accident, they are unable to get back to the home page. Clicking on either of the 2 items below (see screenshot) does not work, nor does removing the unique URL string after the site URL. I had to close browser, delete cache and cookies, to be able to get back to home screen. This is not intuitive. Any idea why this isn't working? Happened same in Chrome and Firefox.
