Hello, Dear community, I have a brief query, how can I make it so that the clubs option is shown in the upper right part where the searches are written, as well as other search options? It would be of great help since I need it since my community is really a site where users post discord groups. We have this issue on a certain page, latest activity or the discover page, wherein, anyone can access, it should be for logged in users only, see attach screen as you can see im on incognito mode and not logged in, but I can see that page, any help? -Allan of Nigel's Team

Hello, Since the last update, several members have had their accounts blocked. Here is the message displayed in login form: Try this without success: Disable all custom apps Disable all custom plugins Clear cache Change these settings, then back to defaults: Clear "failed_logins" column in core_members table Logs from a member: When I manually unlock a member, after just one login attempt, he is locked again. Very strange, the same timestamp is inserted 3 times in failed_logins column, when it should be different: Can you help? Thanks.

I would like the admin to edit posts silently (without displaying edited by my_name), is that possible? I often correct typos, add an uppercase at the beginning of a title, make corrections to the formatting of a post etc.. and would rather not have that "edited by" line displayed. Thanks!

After upgrade from 4.6.10 to something higher, split topic into different topic doesn't work. I select few posts and after split I got this error message. Only one post is moved, however. It's annoying when I have to move 20-30 posts.

Hello, I use IPB since 2006 year and I used to some modules and plugins. During this long time IPB changes some tables, so in my database I have some obsolete tables (for example the first one bbcode_mediatag is like that). In bold should be an obsolete tables, no longer used by Invision community or unistalled modules. I use the latest iVC 4.6.12 - Board, Blog, Gallery, Pages and Calendar. Which tables can I remove from database? I would remove in bold, but maybe there are some to delete else. Thanks. Those two last with x_utf_ prefix are important too?

Hi guys, we can't get any new members and I keep getting ex0 when I run tests. I tried to disable captcha and spam as I thought it might be related but still no joy. Hey there, I don't know if this is only happening to me. I see sometimes that the sidebar is "placing" slow. I don't know how to explain, my community starts placing only the content full width and then it "fixes" the sidebar to the right. This is a bit problematic sometimes as my automatic Ads system (adsense/ezoic) thinks they have the full with and creates an ad with full width, pushing the sidebar more than the 100% with of my webpage. Do you feel this issue?

One of my favorite features of IPS is the auto-save when writing a post and coming back to the whole "Your previous content has been restored" message. How does this actually work? Does it rely on a browser's cache and or cookies? Or is it literally saving it to the server? It works great for me, but not for some of my users. Before I take a deep dive into why it's not working for some users I was wondering if anyone actually already knows the answer.

A member pointed this out to me this morning and it's not something I had come across or considered before. Our /forums/uploads directory is browsable - along with the corresponding monthly subdirectories which are created by IPS. I wouldn't have thought it an issue, until the same member suggested that some of these images often contain sensitive information such as bank transfer details or account information. Is this a bug, or expected functionality?

I'm having an issue where some of my members (old and new) can't access my forum. They click the link in my membership and it just takes them to a login or change your password page. I use MemberPress and an SSO plugin. Guests are able to access the forum though. I can't figure out what to do.

My site is showing a "MySQL server has gone away" error, something I've never seen. Hello, I have a problem with ipsMenu. For the past two days, when calling a particular menu, it appears for a moment and then immediately redirects to a particular subpage. An example is trying to see a list of who gave a reaction in a post, or displaying a list of notifications/quick logins. Yeah, I know, 3.3.4 is super outdated and no longer supported and I'm an idiot for not upgrading sooner. By all means spend a few minutes laughing at me. π My music-based community has been online for over 17 years and we're self hosted. We started out on IPB 1.3, and upgraded to 3.3.4. Certain things no longer work (View New Content and searches -- both time out) or never worked at all (IP address searches for members from the admin CP -- white screen). Hi Invision, After the update last 4.6.11, we get a guest profile creation every minute from 1 IP. This IP is used by a moderator, but is not active the whole day. So we can't block this ip. But how can it be that this guest profiles are created every minute? We don't use social login at the moment. https://bit.ly/3tqk7fA The profiles are temp in the AdminCp. Hi, Today we came across a very weird behavior. We turned off copying and pasting of rich text (Paste Behavior: Always paste as plain text), yet one user was able to post the particular rich text I reproduce below both in the title and in the post itself. I have no clue on how this particular string is being able to bypass this setting. Note: I disabled all apps and plugins, disabled CloudFlare, and used the default, unmodifed theme, at no avail. πππΌπ πππππ πππππΌ πΌ ππππππ πππΎΜ§πΌΜπ? After updating to version 4.6.12.1 there was a problem with Unread Content (/discover/unread), after clicking on an unread topic it takes you to first post, not to the last. Thanks for help.
