When file is being uploaded on chunks basis, the real record name saves like this in database: 151644873_xxxxxx.rar The xxxxxx is the actual and valid file name, the 151644873 is unnecessarily added.

Baffled by this one guys. Member tells me a link doesn't work, in a topic where I've provided two links to two separate topics. Topic 1 (Click it and it says, Sorry We cannot find that topic) Topic 2 (No problem and it goes straight to it) So I'm an admin and the user has full access permissions to the forums via a Named Group. If I sign in as the user, I can see that he gets that problem, but in my own admin account, I don't as it goes straight to Topic 1 link. But I cannot see any tool that would give me the ability to stop linking to a certain topic. Any ideas guys?

I have an ongoing intermittent issue which seems to happen at around the same time each week. My community fails to load, producing a generic 'Error 500' page. When this happens, checking with the ips4.php update checker works and returns a clean bill of health. The error happens on the standard theme and when logging into the ACP, as well as my modified theme. The hosts have managed to fix the issue and have told me they have cleared the server cache and (once) told me it was a permissions issue. They can find nothing further amiss on their side, despite repeated support calls, each time it happens. The system log produces the following entry when the issue occ…

I am cloud-hosted on IPS, who helped set me up so that MX for the domain points to Dotster allowing me to easily maintain a frequently-changing set of aliases there for our dog club at example.com. Looking at my Email Settings page I am using SMTP (Mailgun) to send site email. All seems good. I would like to look into using Support Tickets and Departments for handling the occasional incoming queries (and spam, sigh). Hi guys, I've tried to upgrade the IPB, but it crashed before end the processing. I've restored the backup of my database, but now, when I'm enter on the forum index, it just appears a blank page. When I expand forums to see sub-forums I get it loads the entire page inside the element like in the picture below. I believe the ajax response is not filtered properly and is having some issues. Also the menu on the top right of the page stops working after this PS: I recently purchased this but I got an email telling me to post the issue here. PS: I think I did a reset from the first one

Hi, I've a requirement. I want to get IP address of guest/members to are searching content on my website. In ACP>activitystats>Searches , I can see only three fields here SEARCH TERM RESULTS DATE I tried to see in DB table core_statistics but no IP field is there Also I saw a field named EXTRA_DATA here but could not understand the use of this field Could anyone suggest how can I get the IP for searches? Most of our members upload images on a regular basis without a problem, yet one member has problems uploading .png screenshots to our community. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work for him. He sent me the image he was trying to upload and I was able to upload it without any issues. Hi team, I need to activate 2 currencies for payments, EUR for Europe and USD for United States of America, but my IPS only works in Spanish language. Actually when I enable 2 currencies should enable for a language, not for location. How can I do it? In second way I need to have differents stripe and PayPal payments, one for every currency. Hello, I could really use some help here. I can not upgrade to the latest patches because it says my templates are out of date. I don't know what we modified at one time to make them out of date, but I don't want my look and feel of my message board to go away but I don't know what I need to fix so I can upgrade. Hello, I am trying to enhance the products page but I am finding a couple of issues. There is hardly any settings to change the looks 1. Is it possible to set the default view to expanded? I am not sure if you call it like that. I tried to find an option in ACP to do that but I couldn't. 2. Number of words displayed in the short description. I can't see a way to change the number of words or lines that can be displayed in the product list. The software will truncate the text without letting me to change any of that. I disabled elasticsearch ages ago (over a year ago I think?), not because its not useful but because I hadn't upgraded it and the version I was running wasn't compatible that I knew of as of like 4.0 of IPS. I just tried to upgrade to the latest beta and I'm failing at an error that is associated with elasticsearch. Help? My entire site is now down.
