Hello! After upgrading the forums to v4.7.2.1, it has been reported that members cannot register, as they get a blank page with a 500 error (screenshot attached). The rest of the forum pages work normally.

For a specific IP address, the built-in GEOLocation service is indicating "UK" as user country. However if I used https://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip-demo (I think IPS use this service) or what ever location tool, it shows "Lithuania" as user country. Both are far away locations. Is this something wrong with IPS GEOlocation service?

We are seeing inconsistent post counts on Leaderboards, Hovercards, and Member pages. These appear to be sourced from different DB tables/cols, or the storage may be bugged. Specifically, the same member can show different 'POSTS' counts in the same Leaderboard among "Most Rep", "Most content", and "Most posts". And they can also be different on hovercards and profiles. We have recounted posts/rep and rebuilt Leaderboards.

Hello, does anyone know when the Nov release is out which requires PHP 8+? I’m currently on an old version of PHP (7.4) and have an old version of IPB. I have a window between now and the next (Nov) version to upgrade where both IPB versions support PHP 7.4. I’m hoping the answer is not next week… but that would be better than “today or this weekend”. Thanks!

We have a use case where we have groups that are private from each other, some members are using the @ tagging and this can tag members from other groups and cause issues. Can we turn this off?

Ok let me first point out I've got all 3rd Party addons disabled. Now if you take a subscribing member and and login as him and them go to the subscription page there is no cancel button to cancel a current subscription or the ability to up or down grade a subscription. I've also seen where the buttons are not present to new member to subscribe. That I found was a 3rd party add on that caused that and disabled all my 3rd party stuff. Still in all there is no buttons to cancel a subscription. Now doing some testing current subscribers do not have any cancel button. Any non-subscribing member does have a subscribe button. I bought a plugin off the marketplace, I was trying to update and I keep getting an error code. I tried linking my account thinking that they should already be linked, told me to create a username, I put the one i had in and it said it was already taken. I put in a different username, now it's connected to my main account I think, but my purchases are gone... How do I get the other one back? Hello, I have a problem or question about the email settings. I have quit a lot of users and for most everything works fine on my site but for some users the automatic emails from my site get rejected by there email provider and the mails get marked as spam or get rejected. I already made SPF entry on my DNS which altered the problem a bit but still like on 2% of new registrations I get rejected emails. I am using smtp plaintext to send automatic emails. Is there anything more I can do to prevent the described problem ? Thanks for the help in forward.

Aside from Edit and Delete, I cannot find any way to add other "managing" commands for the users. Is it possible for them to Move an image from one category to another? If so, where do I set that? Are there other commands than Edit and Delete that would make sense to allow users to do? If so, which ones and how?

Hi, after the latest upgrade to v4.7.3 - Events / Calendar does not work any longer. The Events cannot be accessed at all, when I click on "+" to create en Event I get the error code 1S160/2, and saying the page does not exist. Any idea why this happens?

My forums are privately hosted on a subdomain of my main website. Twice yesterday I had people email us and say that they were asked to enter credit card information. Both are insisting that my site was hacked. My forums are free and do not require a credit card. I told them this in an email response. I'm trying to figure out if they clicked on an ad that is malicious (in which case adthrive needs to investigate and remove it) of what exactly happened. Any advice you have is appreciated. Yes, I have already reached out to my host and adthrive. LL

Since upgrading to 4.7.3, sadly, only custom CSS files are shown in the Theme Editor side window now. Core and other applications CSS files are no longer showing or can be edited without going into designer mode.

Hello, We recently tried to upgrade the php version of our community from 7.4 to 8.1, after checking the compatibility scanner and fking the few issues we found, we thought that we were able to switch easily. However after we switched, our whole community is broken. And we are wondering if maybe we missed something while upgrading. Currently when you go to the community the only thing that happens is that a blank 0kb file is downloaded. We were able to login to the AdminCP, however after clearing the cache (via the button) the AdminCP is also broken. I need to copy some tutorials from my Joomla site to my Invision forum. The tutorials contain photos that I want to be saved to my Invision forum folder instead of just being linked. There use to be an option in the ACP to do that but I no longer see it. Can anyone anyone tell me where I can find setting or a way to do that? BTW, the Joomla site and the IPS forum are on the same server. Just in different folders.
