Hi all, This isn't the first time I've tried to do an update and been thwarted. The upgrade process is basically stuck at sign in, so after step one confirm upgrade. Just the spinner, no console errors. Have signed in and out here a few times, plus in and out of the marketplace. We've tried previous releases but it's always failed, we're told it's due to cloudflare. Well we're not behind cloudflare now and it's just as bad. 🙂 I'm tempted to do a manual upload but don't know if the upgrade needs to call home and as such we'd be blocked mid upgrade. I've attempted to upgrade to the latest version, now the site won't load. When trying to create a new account on our site it creates the account successfully but on the registration form it proceeds to say "That display name is in use by another member." & That email address is in use by another member. Do you need to reset your password?" There is an issue here as the account name & email was available right before hitting the "Create my Account" button. I tried disabling all apps & plugins via support, but the issue was strangely still present. Access information is up to date. Hello, I am adding to my API that I currently have. I am needing to add a check to see if the IP Address is matched against the banned IP Address table, as far as I know it should be done like so with the API "https://your-community.com/api/index.php?/core/members/ip/{ip}"; With {ip} being replaced with the IP with the users IP to check against it in our database. But this doesn't work, it just returns an error "errorCode": "3S291/2", "errorMessage": "BAD_METHOD" Does anyone know how this can be done, it seems extremely hard to use the API Documentation on IPB and seems to be missing a lot of the methods on the following page http…

I have a master (default) and child theme under it. In \root\uploads\ I have two folder created automatically by system set_resources_0 set_resourses_2 When I go to theme > child > Manage resources and re-save all resources manually they appear in in set_resources_2 but as soon I go to clear system cache they return to stage of image 2. That cause 404 errors.

Hello, We have a problem with the activity stream shown in the profile. We think it is a configuration error, because we have an acceptance environment which works perfectly. Currently the following is shown on our production environment : We want it to be the same as this: Disabling the plugins/applications doesn't make a difference and everything in “System” > “CONTENT DISCOVERY” > “Search” is the same. Any idea how we can fix this? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance,

We've converted all tables of forum's DB into InnoDB format as suggested by AdminCenter. Just then the system log began collecting the errors in search query "IPS\Db\Exception: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting FTS_TERM or FTS_NUMB or '*' (1064)" The query itself is in the following format: SELECT *, (( MATCH(index_title) AGAINST ('*some_word* *' IN BOOLEAN MODE)<... and so on...> We believe the forum core generates it while this is coming from data input when the user is asking something like to "see everything", but for InnoDB AGAINST('*' ...) is not valid. Hi there, I'm working on a long neglected community forum setup and I have some questions. I'm getting up to speed on a few thing, though I have done a lot of configuration of our install, our other guy (who is out of pocket at the moment) did a lot of this work. Here are my questions: 1. Does our license include the ability to set up a test instance of our forum software so I can test an upgrade? Is there anything I need to do or configure to make that work? Hello, I am trying to find out if it is possible to change the order of loading custom.css files as part of a secondary theme (theme inheritance) currently the child theme file is loaded before the parent theme which is not logical , and does not allow overloading. Upgraded to the latest version (v4.7.4 + PHP 8.1) and can no longer embed external images from their url. everything else seems to embed okay. no 3rd party plugins and using the default theme. pasting the image in directly works, but it errors when pasting the image url.

Hi, I spent hundreds on modules from an author. After sending him a message about the API not working he has blocked me from further messages. Invision has removed Support as well a few months in. Is this really how we all going forward lifting each other up having succesful websites? Mind blowing.... Will post the author if needed.
