    Thanks, that's a great suggestion
Thanks, I'll admit that I haven't thought that anybody was using it for report bookmarks. I'll take a look at this tomorrow.
    I really can't reproduce this.

@Fosters Trust you are doing well.
I wanted to report a problem with the creation of a new category in the bookmarks application.
When I click on "Create new Category" button. There is no way to go back and cancel that selection. I close the popup, there is no option to choose the category. I have to refresh the browser to see the category selection again 😞
    Thanks a lot

Maybe it's just me, but the bionic reading did not change my reading pattern at all. I just ended up reading it at normal speed. In fact maybe even slowly since the darker contrast to lighter contrast makes you pause more while reading. I understand what they are aiming for, but I preferred the normal paragraph in the link above. Maybe it's just me though.

@Matt, can you add a “search” in the Node field just like the one in checkboxset?

I think I posted about this ages ago but its something I find so annoying and it would be great if it could be improved.

The user interface for starting a post simply doesnt work when you have sub forums. For example if I want to start a topic in general chat, when I select it I then have to click in the white area beside the drop down to make the drop down disappear and show the continue button.

That's incorrect Marc. I've have been using a software called amember.com connected to vBulletin that let me create renewal prices different to the initial price. I've been using it for 10 years, not a SINGLE issue in 10 years and vBulletin (a forum, your competition). Not a single one. And you are telling me that PayPal is the problem. I am sorry, that's not true.
So, PayPal is not the issue. I recommend that you look into it or how do they do because PayPal is definitely not the problem, otherwise I would have run into trouble in the thousands of payments that have been processed with PayPal over 10 years.
I've been in direct contact with them for many years and neither PayPal nor Stripe had issues with recurrent payment fees being smaller than the initial price. You can see their billing plan for any product below, it works seamlessly and super flexible.
What I still do not understand is how IPS can let Commerce create renewals with a different price than the initial price with PayPal without warning that if you do, it will break the renewals in Commerce  😞 I mean, I do not understand. I've warned about this issue many times. Not a single warning has been added. The functionality is still there. The software will not only NOT warn you, but it will let you go ahead. If you do, you are in trouble my friend.
IPS is complaining about the support tickets that self-hosted system can generate. What about preventing these tickets from happening by fixing this issue? Or at least warning and disabling PayPal renewals in this scenario for now?

I'm afraid, here in support I can only instruct you on what is currently possible in the software today. If you would like any feature changed, please provide your suggestion in our Feature Suggestion forum.
There are only two options currently:
Your products are optionally associated where, what I described above, would be the only way to reference and prompt your users to buy the optional product. Your products are required to be associated where, when the user buys x, they are forced to buy y. From what I've read here, you're looking for both at the same time, which I'm afraid, is not possible.

If you are looking for an alternative, you could always create 2 products, one has your support/renewal baked in and the other does not. This way you can accomplish the above with separate products.

Is "Up-sell in store?" enabled with your renewal product? This will show it below the next steps screen when a user adds the associated product to their cart.
NOTE: it will not show anything on the checkout screen to recommend it, only right after the user adds the associated product to their cart.

Unfortunately, this is an issue with one of your third-party applications/plugins. After disabling these, your "Our Picks" block is working without issue. Please disable all of these items and then test again. Once done, please re-enable them one-by-one to see which one is the issue here. Please contact the author for assistance.
Please keep in mind when going from one version to the next, some third-party applications/plugins may not be compatible yet and you will encounter errors. When you have as many as you have installed, unfortunately, the chances are higher of this.

Adobe and Microsoft both faced similar responses when they went SaaS. They also got negative feedback from small businesses and adjusted course accordingly. Adobe by offering cheaper lighter option and Microsoft by offering 1 time licenses as well as 365 licenses.

    So it begins.
If you remove self hosting, you will lose us as a customer, plain and simple.
I already have hosting for which I use with other domains and other software. I don't require your cloud services, just your software.

Would it be possible to add a 'ban/warn' button in the same way you can normally moderate posts.
Having to constantly go to the users profile and/or remind moderators how to this down is tedious. It would be a lot more straight forward and quicker when dealing with those members who cause you problems.

Currently, once a CKEditor plugin is installed then a new version of the same plugin cannot be installed.
The only options available to handle this one are to:
Upload the new versions code via FTP (not possible for Cloud customers) Reset the Editor to default configuration, blowing away ALL plugins added to the Editor as well as any custom buttons added.

    Hello @Adriano Faria
Hope you are doing well. I just wanted to let you know that the tutorials system does not work with the secondary groups permissions.
I've set the permissions for primary and secondary groups. Secondary group permissions will be ignored. The tutorials system seems to read only the primary group permissions.
For example, this is what I did
A user signed up for a membership User primary group = Member User secondary group = Membership I added the permissions for the secondary group "membership" The user will see the error "No permissions to read the the tutorials" If I manually add the user group "membership" as primary, then the tutorials system will work   I am running the latest 4.7 beta 4 version.
Is there a way to fix this so that secondary user groups can be used as well? Thanks so much!

No. If you got the message you needed to upload files manually, you had already started the upgrade

We are simply following our internal security policy in asking for proof that you are who you claim to be, nothing more than that. We aren't trying to strong-arm you into renewing. 🙂
Asking us to cancel an account. when the request comes from an email which is not associated to the purchase at all, is something we cannot do without proof. This protects both the integrity of your account, and us, from malicious actors.
Since you said the email used to register can't be used, we asked for an alternative way to prove your identity, in the form of a government-issued identification. (You did previously reply, "If you allow any other verification, please do let me know." We did offer the alternative method, which you indicated you were not comfortable doing.)
This has been policy for a very long time when an email address expires or is deleted, and we receive a request to cancel an account, license, or package. I'm sorry you feel this is not an acceptable way to do this.
That said, if you've removed your credit card from the Client Area, any renewal would go unpaid and eventually expire on its own.

It looks like it was simply a caching issue. I have cleared cache on your site, and its now working. I would however advise on ensuring you update, as you are not using the latest beta currently

First try rebuilding your system cache from the ACP support area. If that does not work next try uninstalling the marketplace addon to see if it’s an app specific issue.

Yes, I think that is the plan all along. A marketing strategy to disappoint all the self hosting customers and gradually convince them to migrate to cloud.
I do wonder how many live forums are out there successfully running and using the IPS cloud business plan.
Any links? I would like to see some.
