I think there are two different use cases:
Editor for user-generated content. Should be simple, not too many options, clear and foolproof. I think that the actual IPS editor fulfills the requirement. Editor for articles wrote by admin. Should be powerful, have many options (text positioning, blocks, columns, grids, custom code pieces, custom styles, extendable with SEO and other plugins, have additional extensions via Marketplace etc.) For this case, the actual IPS editor is not enough.

Ck editor is bad because IPS workers fail to update the editor, always 200 miles behind the official ck editor version.

When doing your refresh can you also take a look at the help files?  Some are way out of date and most don't give clear examples on how to implement some of the options available.  Not everyone is a PHP coder, but many don't mind getting their hands dirty now and then to make some positive changes to their sites.
An example would be (and this is just an example as it comes to mind) - how to implement Google Maps.  The instructions are out of date and it was a minefield navigating how to set it up - I gave up at the finish.  Another would be how to use custom fields and how to best use them, including any CSS examples that are needed to dress those fields so they look the part. Plain English examples are needed.
I'm sure that a lot of people would appreciate being able to make changes without any horror stories occurring.  As the suite evolves so should the help files and if you are including community enhancements that involve third parties, who are also evolving, then the help files should reflect this.  I believe this is just as important as a site refresh and apologies for hijacking the topic, but a refresh should be more than just some site cosmetics 🙂

Many have posted on this in the past and a few managed to have it done reading some of the posts on here maybe it is time to look at this again, I currently have 5 Licenses that i keep current, a few of them have the full meal deal with all the apps that IPS sells however i have one license that i do not need lets say blogs why is it IPS cant (or wont) move my app to the license that i need it on? It is crazy to have to pay another 75.00 for an app i have on another licence that i dont need this particular app, i could see if my licenses were expired it would be different.
I dont think it would be that hard to move an app from one license to another if they are all current on renewals would it.

I am not certain if the behavior of mobile push notifications is correct. Every time I get a notification and click to view the content, the notification itself does not disappear (Android). It means the notifications are still there as if I have not yet read the content. I have to go through all notifications and swipe them away one by one. 
The behavior of other notifications (Gmail, Facebook, WhatsApp etc.) is different. Once I clicked them, they disappear from my notifications stream. This is how I would expect to have IPS notifications as well. 
Additionally, I wish the notification list in IPS would recognize that I have read the content and mark the notification as read.
Right now, if there is a notification, then:
I click on it to view it I swipe it away to get rid of I have to open my notification list here to have it marked as read as well. Three actions to get rid of one notification. 

So our members from 20 years of forums use will lose their hard earned titles.  I expect pretty annoyed members.  Can we have both?

The articles are written in Pages. When posting an article a forum thread is created automatically (for SEO that forum isn't visible for guests).
Comments in the thread and on the article itself are synced. So it doesn't matter where the user reads or answers, everything's always up to date.

No, not inside the first post, instead of the thread.
The tab bar will stay below the thread title. But the first tab will include the full thread as it is now (screenshot 1).
So it doesn't matter on which site of the thread you are, you can always click on another tab and it shows only it's content and not the thread (screenshot 2).
Sadly the developer doesn't have a live demo too, so I can only provide his screenshots.
It would be great if you could implement that 🙂

Hi, tested and works fine but could be better. The main problem with this application is, as far as I see the tabs are always displayed above the thread, which is not good when you have tabs with lots of content. I know the tabs can be truncated, but there is a better solution, look here ...

This is a similar addon, which when you add an extra tab, keeps the original thread in tab 1 and creates the custom ones besides it as 2 and 3 (like tabs in database records).

With this and the already implemented features the application would be absolutely perfect, but at the moment I sadly don't think I can use this.

Go to Instagram and copy the embed code of any post. In the code you will find the URL of the post too, for example https://www.instagram.com/p/CHgGzVBlhip/
Change that to https://www.instagram.com/p/{option}/ (multiple times). Edit other parts you don't want/need (like title, whatever).
The go to Editor -> Toolbars -> Add Button. Use option and paste your edited HTML code.
When you want to insert a post from Instagram, klick the new button and put the ID in the popup, in this case CHgGzVBlhip.
The result looks like this ...

That's how our forefathers did it before automatic embedding 
Like said this is only a temporary solution, but works just fine.

Worked with the majority of the vids I've tested, but on some it looks like embedding is disabled or something, but that can happen on YT too.

Just to clarify because it was already asked on our forum... it looks like the owner of the rights to this theme is still Heosforo, no matter if he's not active here anymore.
For this reason we will neither upgrade it to future IPS versions nor offer it for download.

Hi everyone.
I have a member who can't seem to login. I know, this is going to be tough to troubleshoot from my end.
They say they keep on getting a wrong username/password error. I've reset their password and logged in myself perfectly. I asked them to login with their email and username to see if it helped, still no good. I thought perhaps there was some cached data holding onto an old login session so had them perform a hard reset, still no good.
I have Facebook logins enabled which they tried and still no good. Besides throwing their computer out the window does anyone have any suggestions to what we can try next?
