Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

Are you 100% sure of that? There are no lists anywhere where someone has used the same username? It is very very likely there are username, email, password combinations out there.

We do not yet support PHP 8.2. You need to be on 8.1

This is indeed correct. I would suggest having a look through the provider directory to see if there is someone you can perhaps employ to assist with this if you are having issues.

Marc Stridgen reacted to Stuart Silvester in Message ID header problems
Generally the first email server to encounter the email will generate a Message-ID if it's missing [see section 6.4 of the SMTP RFC: https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5321 ).
I haven't see any other SMTP service reject emails for this reason.

Marc Stridgen reacted to Stuart Silvester in Gallery, View photo EXIF information
Hello,
For privacy reasons, the location of the image will never appear in the expanded EXIF information. If you have a mapping tool enabled the author will be able to set whether they want to share the location of the image when they upload it (should that information be available via EXIF).

Marc Stridgen got a reaction from amd21 in Upgrade of invision
No, you would be uploading files via FTP. Not via the admin CP. I have to be honest here and say I really really would advise getting someone to assist you with actually doing this if you are unsure, as you can break your site. It also may be worth at taking a look at our cloud solution rather than self hosted, if you are not sure on hosting of your site

On the iphone one, it appears to be how they are being compressed before uploading by the device itself

Marc Stridgen got a reaction from SeNioR- in VAT ID check seems broken (again)
For others, this requires the country prefix, so ensure this is added. I have however opened a bug report to see if we can validate this better

As mentioned by my colleague, a bug report has been added for this. We cannot guarantee a version a bug fix will be in

Marc Stridgen reacted to Joel R in Event Listing Cover Photo Sizing
Cover photos in IPS are tricky, because as Marc has pointed out, the cover photos are responsive and will stretch depending on the size of your window.
In all the years that I've seen people struggle (myself included), the best ones that I've seen are where you have a repeating pattern which work regardless of the dimensions.
The cover photos where you have one large focal point will always be either too small or too large.

Marc Stridgen got a reaction from Max in Site was offline yesterday
Sorry to hear you were having issues. It is unfortunate this has happened at a busy period for your site. We now have this resolved, as mentioned in some of our other topics. And of course we do take a look to see how we can reduce such issues going forward. The answer to both of your questions would be yes.
