Marc Stridgen got a reaction from lordi in Don't mark a topic as "Solution" when it's not yet "Solved"
Just wanted to follow up on this one. We have been working to find better ways to provide information to you regarding items which may not yet be solves, but are awaiting being solved. When there are items such as this, you will now see prefixes are added to the topic to state they are known issues, or they are fixed in a future release.
You can see an example of this here, as we have now started using them
This is in addition to other items we have for use internally to follow up on items. So we can internally add to our own records to follow up on an issue, and come back to keep you guys updated when we can. 🙂

Marc Stridgen reacted to Matt in (Pages) Display options for title field
I'll make a note to clear up this confusion in the user interface. The title and content fields are special because they fit into the Node\Model framework which underpins this feature.

Marc Stridgen reacted to Adriano Faria in all login areas broken
You are using an outdated version of Links Directory. Version for IPS 4.6 doesn't has this issue.
You don't even show as purchaser of this app! 🤷♀️

Marc Stridgen got a reaction from Tripp★ in Push notifications for both platforms?
Taking a look in chrome here as an example, you should be installing the application in order to get system notifications. Could I confirm this is what you are doing?

Marc Stridgen reacted to Louis C in "Manual action required" on step 4 of auto upgrade
No, that's a different issue relating to step 2 of the upgrade process.
The issue raised in this thread relating to step 4 is not fixed.
The ticket was for an unrelated issue, but when they fixed that unrelated problem it also fixed this problem.
The subject of the ticket was "Error when updating marketplace app".
Thanks! Found a permission denied error there. It's too late to tell if I've fixed the permissions now because I went ahead with the manual upgrade due to the site being stuck in an "upgrading" state, but I'll try it again next time.

Marc Stridgen got a reaction from IP-Gamers in Sorting by rating does not make sense
Our developers will take a look through that section occasionally, so I'm sure someone will be able to answer you there. Please bear in mind that this isnt something that would be within the scope of standard support though, so it may take some time until someone looks at that. I would suggest however, also adding that to suggestions if you wish to see something like that as standard in the future

Marc Stridgen got a reaction from crmarks in Record pagination options
There is no facility for this within the software at present, however I have moved this topic to our suggestions forum, so that it may be considered for future releases

Marc Stridgen reacted to WP V0RT3X in Menu Navigation / iPad
Hi Andreas,
you should switch from submenus to dropdowns. When the submenu bar is empty it's hidden automatically.
And this is how to create dropdowns...
This is what IPS is using, it's all build in.

Marc Stridgen got a reaction from Markus Jung in Settings for user restrictions are missing
In order for the warnings and restrictions section to show in that area you must enable the warning system. At present this appears to be disabled on yours

Marc Stridgen got a reaction from Hypervisor in Block Caching?
The selection on whether or not to cache a block is when you create a custom block with custom content, and create this from the admin CP. You will not see this on standard blocks you add on the front end of the site
