Additionally, this is what I'm missing in the downloads app:
more choices how to display special files selections in the thumbnails preview slider bars
Please let us have additional, new, flexible preview bars) on the downloads index page.
Currently there are only unchangeable "featured files" / "newest files" / "popular files" preview bars, but this doesn't suit my requirements. I require

# manually preselected files (editor's choice)
# top paid files, top free files
# special offers
# sponsored downloads
  in the files details page, currently there is only the "screenshots bar" with the thumbnails images, but I think it should be more of a sensational shop with a BIG PRIMARY IMAGE or a banner. nowadays, users want to see EYE-CATCHING COVER IMAGES. For IPS, marketplace files functionality (text) might be the most requested information, but for other products (f.e. music or video downloads) users decide about purchases also by looking at images or video! Therefore, the layout looks pretty lost, lame, unspectacular.
  members (file authors) want their own / personal members downloads shops. Have a look at the classifieds app and the "user store concept". This should be realized for downloads, too, and connected to the user profiles pages. My file authors wish to have big profile banners for their downloads (with their commercial logos), introduction texts to their own shops and more
  an integrated reviews rating bar like in "downloads plus"
# the downloads plus app looks great, but for my requirements (I have special code for missing EU tax features and this restricts me to install third party apps, so a native solution is required)
  an option where to store files per file.
I want to transfer small files to Amazon S3, but bigger files (f.e. 1GB video files) should be stored locally to avoid high cloud transfer costs. I experience that my users download their files multiple times again and again and this becomes more and more expensive

Yes, the Downloads App needs more attention. Regarding uploads I think it should techincally be possible to allow huge uploads and downloads, even on hosted sites with little to no possibility to configure the php.ini file. I have seen a new version of a Download App (for a competing software) that allowes exactly that. A very nice feature!
Two more things that come to my mind right away (because I was struggeling with this lately):
4) Categories should not work like forums. Content in subcategories should also show up in the parent one.
5) It should be possible to add more than one category to a download.

Common IPS! The Download App need some love. It's basically been the same since I started using IPS, back when it was IPB. A few suggestions for you.
1) In pretty much every section across the board users can choose to show content in a grid or list. We need this for Downloads. The download section look horrible to be honest, outdated and dificult to see enough of what's new without having to scroll through an annoying horizontal list. Showing items in a grid is pretty much a standard across your differennt apps and the Download App needs the same functions to co-exist with the rest of the board. At least a widget where we can choose how to show the content.
2) With all the features in IPS 4.3, more specifically the subscription feature, I would love to see it tied in more to downloads. I'm thiunking about more restrictions like max file upload size. It would be great if we can have normal members only upload a file size of (for example) 1G at a time. Then you can subscribe and be moved to "Gold Member" where you can upload 2G file sizes, and then "Diamond Member" where you can upload 5G file sizes and so on.
3) Ability to choose where extra fields are shows. Sidebar, above or below the information box.
Like I said, Downloads App have gotten NO love for years. And some of us use your software for for the Downloads. It's time to show it some love, don't let it fall behind. To be honest, the only reason I still use IPS as my software is because of the excellent Amazonn S3 integration. Like said above, it looks horrible, got next to no features or settings and is always left out when new updates and features are introduced.

@Morgin @BomAle   Here My 2 cents for Apple IOS and PWA :
It  Disappointing ios is not supporting push notifications yet  . I think in future apple will revise push notification policy again when PWA become mainstream.  Bigger companies adopting the PWA apps day by day.

 
PWA is not just another Buzz word,  PWA again transferring the power back to Web Developers which was lost during native mobile app era. I think REST API based apps for IPB not right approach, From developers point of views, it will make mobile apps  hard to maintain and compatible with every new version of IPB and updates of hundered of IPB plugins. However PWA just uses Mobile Responsive of Website.
Forums Founders  spent both Time and money to make his/her community sustainable. sometime new users like the forums but forget url and browser history deleted,at that time website looses one member ? this same things happened with me many times and may be other members share the same experience. 
For iOS users or Android users there is more chances, new users of clients Forum website click on App icons  (Installed by PWA ) again than open browser inside the mobile, remember the website URL and hit the enter. No matter whether  PWA support push notifications for particular mobile os or not :)
Moreover for just one mobile OS. it is not good idea not to implement for other too. PWA fully supported in Window 10 redstone 4. We can't ignore the billions machine running  window 10. Window 10 PWA app would be huge opportunity  to keep the website users engage with website. Just imagine clients Forums apps are installed on users PC.  Even They don't open browser and enter forum URL,  with single push notification you can make users again engage to your website ? More and more adopting the window 10

Yeah, count with me too, right now I use ehren team, hope your theme can help ips go to next level, UX UI and Mobile focus are the keys. Developers use more desktop, but users use more smart phone. And after all, developers work for users, so is more certainly from users perspective saying if ips is good for mobile or not.

The site users are aged 50 - 90 years plus, so anything wizzy like collapsing fields are far too technical for them
I think what the person is complaining about is there is too much data on the league page and same as news page - if you go to the news page

The news is buried underneath the league table then in a category. It is hard to find for users.
It would be good to have a league page with just a league table and a league description A news page just containing news for that league - especially if we can bypass the news category page, listing categories (league news can most likely work better without cats just living on 1 page with tabination like the news app here https://www.walkingfootball.com/news/) A fixtures page just containing fixtures for that league With the 3 above pages of information available to access via the button widget that sits in it's current position

Not meaning to be critical as i guess you are intending changing it anyway but your current league page contains too many individual results. It perhaps would work better if it just contained the leagues rather than the detail.
I wonder if it would look better having the league fixtures and results on a different tab to the table and league information?
 

In mobile after use quote, it like impossible delete it. 

Please I want to request Custom Field inside the "Details" widget, or Issue information panel. 
If appear issue, should be appear solution later, but sometime the solution appear many time discussion, or change of information, or a progress workflow, in this case the comment section is used to show the discussion, change of information, progress workflow or confirmation of a task, so some issue will be contain many comments, if let me add a custom field to the detail panel, I will put there a solution link, when after open the Issue View page(in this case the issue will be completed), I can click the lick and take me to the comment where contain the solution, I avoid have to scrolling and searching which comment contain the solution information.

I think the scene need and concept like purpose of one of your plugin, present the information in first view and provided easy and efficient way to find information that use case need.

There are always 2 responsibilities: (1) member assignment and (2) project managers (who have to control the assignments, and they are responsible if assignments do not move forward). If you have a lot of projects, you also require the project manager information (that could potentially switch any time) and it will be located best there.

I just installed the latest version:
On the first issue (= a project item), in the details view, others can't react to the first issue post (reactions missing in the template, ^^ already mentioned above) On the same issue details page, if I click "assign to" XY (and the issue was formerly assigned to me), I select XY and save, but what it actually does is -> delete the assignment. No new assignment possible I like the separation in the issue overview page

I agree, the sidebar contains only data & actions about the issue.
Only "Topics" have such a button in IPS, none other page has this AFAIK and I don't see much value in this, but I guess we can add it if there's really a need for it.

Sorry, I don't want to destroy your request, but I really don't think a "create issue" button should be placed there. So please don't beat me for my refutation ?
^^ This is only the issue information pane, and a "create new" button shouldn't be placed inside there, as it isn't related to the shown issue at all...
I had the same problem, that new issues can only be created via the "project view" which is very unhandy (and I reported this 1 year ago as a suggestion on fosters.tech)
What I finally did as a self-help solution was, I added a custom "text & php widget" above the "all issues overview / filter tabs page", and I inserted the button code to display it on the top there. This might also be a good solution for you ? 

You can see I have template set up like grid, and in desktop view there is a green space that's not a project, only is a category that contain rest of projects, but it shows like a project card view. 

Please add option that let's me add more than one Issue Tracker, so under a project I can create issue of different departments, e. G. Accounting, transport, customer service... 
I change list to grid view but there is a forum icon, I think that should be replace by the logo of project, and maybe the background need a image or something like that, I mean it should be Beautifull layout. 
 

The old file is for and old version of the plugin, it was developed originally only to make link title retrieval (This simple feature is already included in the current version).
