Vanucci
First of love the app. Few questions. Can some sort of "shared leagues be created where users of this app can upload their complete leagues. The idea behind this is it could save many many hours on manual input per team. Is there a way for members to pick a favourite team via their profile, that would like to said football team ? Any plans on making a sportsbook for virtual currency off the forums to place wagers on admin/mod created matches. I used to have something similar on a different forum software and my users loved it. Excellent great work, i can imagine this took a long time to make. pidje 1 Link to comment

Import league with teams, so If i have done the Premier league with all the teams and players added, i could export this list and share with another user of this application so they dont have to input all that data themselves. 6 minutes ago, newbie LAC said: 43 minutes ago, Vanucci said: The idea behind this is it could save many many hours on manual input per team. Maybe have the ability to add "fans" to that teams page also, so it count how many users on the forums support that team. 8 minutes ago, newbie LAC said: 44 minutes ago, Vanucci said: Any plans on making a sportsbook for virtual currency off the forums to place wagers on admin/mod created matches. In any case I guess it's long work. Best way to describe this: Saturday football matches in the premier league. 6 games for example Team 1 v Team 2 and so on The admin/mod would have to create these events and then be able to give odds on win/loose/draw The end user would be able to place a wager on this via inforum currency. ( points or whatever anyone uses, i know this would mean that either it would have to integrate with an already exisitn currency, or the application itself would need its own) End of the day results would be input by the admin/mod and the wagers would be paid out accordingly. I hope i made sense of that. If not i can pm you a link with better description. pidje 1 Link to comment

Players has custom fields. If you have a field "Field A" with id 1 and someone has a field "Field B" with id 1 the imported data would be incorrect. theblackelk
How easily could this be adapted to American football? At a high level, what would it take? How clunky or polished would the end result be? Can things like "fixtures" be renamed to "schedule"? Link to comment

The 3.4 version was adapted to the NBA and Ice Hockey fairly easily, I imagine its the same for American Football. All text can be altered by default, you can do this via your themes language but I'm certain Newbie will make any customizations which you may need for this to work. theblackelk 1 Link to comment

Unlucky
I am working on this football site http://www.walkingfootball.com/ There are alot of mini leages springing up all over the country Is it possible and if so what sort of workload would be invovled for members to create and update their leages with results And can arrange these leages into different categories? One other question Is there also an RSS option where you could import league table results and updates from another existing league? Link to comment

Adam Dover
Hi there, I was wondering if there is any chance the app can be geared towards a gaming site. I bought it and looked around, but can see a lot of alterations need to be added, but look doable. The crutch though is ability to join teams. I'll explain what I need and maybe look at hiring someone (or author) to help me out. Overall Purpose of the League(s) I wish to operate - I want members within my forums to able to create and join 5 (or a specific number as max players) man teams without need of administration (if option for members to create teams within a specific league exists when being created in admin cp. They would need to do so before a predefined "cut off" date. Else they cannot create a team because system will not allow. - Whoever created the team is now the admin for that team. He can then kick players from his team and can edit all the other stuff like team bio, logo, positions, etc. - Members who are in that team will appear just as they appear in the forums. So "ForumUser1" will show up in the team as "ForumUser1" and maybe hyperlinked to their forum profile. - Forum moderators or above can still handle the fixtures. Extra Stuff needed The rest is mainly cosmetic. - Remove "Goal Difference" from side reference - Change soccer field to something else - Change "Fixtures" to "Matches" **I'm sure there will be a few other things, just the ones I have noticed so far** Would be willing to $$$ for this. Adam Dover
Couple of bugs/oddities as well: Widget Block of "Tables" when applied to a sub forum also shows in main forum area. Not good for multiple leagues with their own sub forum: http://dowrealism.com/forums/index.php?/forum/28-tournaments-leagues-and-ladders/ Also, the fixture topic and sidebar is having issues. Adam Dover
Thank you, I have started following "Tournaments". One last suggestion before I leave. In the "Football" tab and a individuals league Fixture area I think adding option to make that a forum in which members can create topics would be good. Would be great also for website owners to make a sticky or something further explaining the league. http://dowrealism.com/forums/index.php?/football/league/1-5vs5-open-invite-ctf-mode/ Currently only have option to make another "fixture". Adam Dover
Hi Newbie, if you click on that link, it basically looks like a forum correct? It displays the next matches like you would see in a forum. So suggestion would be to actually make it a forum where you can post threads in it. Would be good to be able to make a sticky post further explaining that specific league and also double as a discussion area. Link to comment
