When was this changed?
In the past, in 2019, when I was testing, I could not install the CK-editor table creation plugin, and many of the ck-editor third-party plugins would not work and crashed the IPS editor. I read on here that it was due to you using a custom-edited version of the CK editor for the suite.
It hasn't changed in v4. That being said, some CKEditor plugins do have dependencies (they require other plugins to be installed too).
IP.Board 3 used a modified CKEditor, so that may be what that comment was related to.

Good find. Most of the CK-editor third-party plugins don't work in IPS due to IPS crippling the editor. Whenever testing if a third-party Ck-editor plugin will work in IPS, always use a test site as sometimes the plugin will crash the editor, and then you will have to manually add back all your editor's custom buttons.
We use the exact same editor you can download from CKEditor.com, we do not make any changes to it.

It has been that way for about a decade now (since early v4 development), Signatures aren't as an important as they used to be and very often add a lot of clutter.
As a work around though; if you enable the show signatures to guests setting, that preference will be retained into a newly registered account.

It works fine for me on Android 14 in Chrome & Edge (I use it daily and I've just re-installed it).

You shouldn't be editing any files directly. It's controlled by the 'CACHE_PAGE_TIMEOUT' constant for self-hosted customers. Using constants.php: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/advanced-options/configuration-options/using-constantsphp-r25/

You would want to use
\IPS\Theme::i()->settings['my_theme_setting']

We don't use Howler, it was left in place so it wouldn't affect any third parties with its immediate removal. It'll be removed from our distribution at some point.
None of the fixes in the CKEditor update are impacting to us or affect our usage, we have no immediate plans to upgrade it further in version 4.

That's expected, due to lazy-loading.
The Javascript asks the browser which formats it can play and adds the appropriate one to the src attribute. However, I do see there's an issue there were the second source element isn't being parsed properly to have the data-video-source attribute. I was able to reproduce that and commit a fix for it.

This topic has been showing up as unread for the past ~10 days in the Unread Content stream. Can you do something about it @Matt? The new blog entry you just posted disappeared properly. 😅
It's so cool, we just want to make sure you see it.
I'll get it removed from unread content.

I don’t know if this is relevant but “Status” updates do not show up in the list of Zapier event triggers.
Status updates aren't supported via Zapier and it's not something we will be adding since they are deprecated in version 4 - https://invisioncommunity.com/deprecation-tracker/
Using a webhook is the preferred alternative, we will review the bug report and release a fix for that when we identify the issue.

You can also use the REST API to create blog entries (might make more sense too if you're importing a lot of data). You can specify the date this way.

Hello,
Background process are already automatically prioritised. Achievements rebuilds and the others that you currently running are the lower priority. If a task is spawned for sending notifications, they will be processed with a much higher priority.
It looks like the achievements rebuild recently completed and almost all other tasks (except for the search index rebuild) have also completed.

Hello,
I just update to Version 4.7.14 -beta
Now, when we edit an article of a database (Pages), the updating time erase the created date.
All the content edit get a new "created date", with the time of now.
Hello,
We have released an optional patch to address this issue. It can be applied from the 'Support' page of your AdminCP.

You're a real disappointment! After stopping the commerce module you announce this? Seriously?!
We are not stopping Commerce. Certain elements have been deprecated and removed in version 5. Version 4 will continue to be supported for a number of years and you're welcome to continue to use it.
See https://invisioncommunity.com/deprecation-tracker for more details

Marc is thinking of something else that came up recently due to a change in PHP.
This issue typically occurs when there's an error that happens really early in the bootup process before the member object is fully available for logging. (this could be something like an error connecting to the database server)

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

This is due to a PHP bug that has been fixed in recent PHP releases and changes how some functionality works. This issue is fixed in the current beta release.

We're still actively mitigating the DDOS attack on some sections of our network. This isn't a network-wide issue and does not affect all customers.
4xx errors are likely to be WAF related, such as making too many requests in a short time.
