I think it would be really nice to have the ability to create a post and schedule it to be posted at a later date/time.  This would allow me to do a LOT of work ahead of time on my forum.

Be careful as this will not support iOS/Apple. Which accounts for over 45% of the market.

Yes. But it has many bugs.
An app with branding and all the customizations is technically not feasible, I guess or requires tons of programmers. Right now: no customizations, no monetization, no branding. All IPS communities sit in one app like TapaTalk. To have an own app for your community only, you would have to go through Google and Apple approval process to add it to their stores. You, not IPS. It costs.
Another question: why do you need mobile app? If it is because of push notifications, they are integrated in 4.6 without mobile app. Any other reason, you would like to have mobile app? 🙂

    HAPPY Hump Day!
A lot has gone down in the last week or two. In case you need a little refresher, we recently soft-launched Achievements. It'll be available for all in the coming weeks, but for now you can get a taste of it here in our own community.
The response has been insanely epic 👏
The feedback even more so 🤯
I personally took notes of all the feedback provided. We've already started implementing some key changes (shout-out to our super talented development team!! Show them some love in the comments), including:
Explanation for how you earned a badge Current position / max number of ranks shown so you know how far you have to go Added tooltips on rank badges Added lazy loading Optimized rebuild routine Fixed a bunch of bugs I know that only scratches the surface, but keep in mind we'll continue better Achievements over time! 🤠
Lots to absorb here. Now that you've had some time to digest Achievements, how are you feeling about it? Sound off in the replies below! 🥳
PS - here's a short-list of some of the 4.6 fixes we worked on in the last week:

    - Added a confirmation pop-up when mass approving account withdrawals.
    - Added an option to limit Withdrawal requests to one per currency at any time.
    - Fixed an issue where the AdminCP livesearch results link to categories instead of blogs.
    - Removed Aggregate rating from JSON-LD structured data
    - Worked around a bug in MySQL when viewing statistics in the AdminCP.

Hey team, I’d love for you to give a warm welcome to Invision Community’s new developer, @Matt Finger
You want some sweet sweet Achievements addons? Then be extra nice to him 😉
So you can get to know Matt F better, I held a mini-interview with the 20-year-old developing prodigy. I said what I said.
When he’s not coding, he’s cooking, fixing things (like cars, bikes, electronics, etc) and reading up on science, physics and philosophy.
After asking him about his hobbies, I cut to the chase and asked him about his passion for coding and a few of his past experiences with it. He flexed his knowledge of philosophy right away.

    🤯🤯🤯

He continued: “That being said, we're faced with the question of, 'how to improve upon one's ability to reason?' We improve upon our ability to reason the same way we can get better at most things: do it over and over again while challenging yourself more and more each time. And in the case of our ability to reason, problem solving and solution finding is, in my experience, the best way to challenge our ability to reason, therefore making it most conducive to increasing said ability to reason, in turn allowing ourselves to achieve our true potential. And software development persistently presents new problems to solve and solutions to find a great way to flex our brains and get better at reasoning.”
“So to sum up, to me, developing is more than writing code, it's more than solving problems. It's a way to achieve my true potential as a human being.”
    “Plus it's fun.”
Welcome to the fam, Matt F!
Please drop a line in the comments and spread the good vibes 😎

Read our Blog Post about it here.
This also means that this community is officially on our latest update: 4.6.
This update will be available to you all in the coming weeks!
In the comments of the announcement blog post, @Matt posted some additional visuals for you to digest. I'm going to include them here as well!

GazzaGarratt reacted to Gangst3r in IPS Pages - some new features suggestions
Hi, I have a few suggestions for Pages App that I miss a lot after switching from Wordpress. The application itself works great and is very flexible, but it still lacks a lot of options, which I will try to describe below.
First of all option which I miss on start is a Poll/Vote option, because I cannot add a poll with voting in any way to article, which is available only in the forum application. It would be great to see  possibility to adding a poll into our articles.
Tables - it is not possible to insert tables with a certain number of columns and rows. This option isn't available in any of the apps, but it would be nice to see one in Pages. For example, I am adding a table with 3 columns and 5 rows, e.g. for movies. The columns contain information such as the name of the film, Production Year and Genre, which can be sorted in ascending or descending order, while in the rows we complete the data related to the columns.
Author Box - as simply as the name suggests, adding the option to insert a small window about the author of the content and a short description of it, which would be added as a widget from the side panel in any selected place, e.g. under the content of an article in Pages.

These are all my suggestions so far, I hope one of them will be in a newer version of Pages.

Super news that @Adriano Faria seems to be picking this one up! 🤩
I was hoping that some enhancements could be made at some point around existing functionality could be extended. More specifically, when trying to create knockout tournaments and league (classed as round robin) tournaments, usually we don't have a set number for the league or knockout.
League wise it feels straightforard to have whatever number you like because we have a league running with 13 but i can't now fit it into it because I can only select 12 or 16 teams and I must fill them.
Equally, knockout wise, Iwas hoping that if you don't get the full numbers to get to equal numbers the functionality wants e.g. 7 instead of 8. Couldn't one have a Bye at all?
Hopefully this is pretty logical and just by extending existing functionality would allow a greater number of existing and new people to use this fantastic application.

GazzaGarratt reacted to Morrigan in Create Menu still needs a re-work
So I have been revamping my main site for ages today and it reminded me how much I loathe the "Create" link.
It shows you EVERYTHING you have access to submit if your database name and the record name are the same they are redundant as hell (Submit Record to Records) and this is even more prevalent when you use a single category setup instead of having multiple categories.
On top of that (and I'm submitting this in a separate topic) Pages databases are a mess in it.
I recently revamped my Create link, though I can't fix all of my issues I was able to take it from this:

    To this:

While some of that (I'd say about five from the first section) are admin/staff only it doesn't make that list any less daunting or confusing for an end user.

    So my issues:
No option in order. It currently follows an App order to put it into the list and for Pages they are all listed in whatever order they want looking at it now. No option in what shows in here. If I want a database to be submitted from only one page I can't tell the create menu (without editing the template) what not to show. Create is too vague of a term. I changed my verbiage to "Quick Create Content" to see if it gets used any more than it had been before as it stands even though it moves with the site I still don't think my members know what it is or how to use it.
What I want is something where you can mange what shows up and in what order. People are already inundated with how much stuff can be on any one site, it would be good not to overload them with looking through a long list of what they can submit and focus them on your primary content sources.

Yes! This can be somewhat frustrating, because as you create the goals, they start stacking up on each other on the same page and confusing members who want to donate to a specific goal. I'd like it too if we could create one goal at a time, and have just that one goal appear on the donation page, and at the same time, preserve the goals from the past.

When you delete a donation goal it removes all data associated with it. This includes the name of the thing that people donated for. I would like to keep this information instead of deleting it so it would be nice to simply disable or deactivate a donation goal. It also helps if you want to re-enable/reactivate it later.

By the way, I've got some exciting news for you 🥰
Brilliant Discord Integration has become one of the most popular third-party apps for Invision Community. It is currently responsible for managing hundreds of thousands members among hundreds of amazing communities.
It was designed to synchronize roles from website to Discord and not the other way around.
It was designed to support only a single Discord server.
It was designed to notify only about content. Only new content. Only from website.
But it was designed in 2018.
It's time to move forward. Meet Jimmy
To make Brilliant Discord Integration even better, we had to completely rethink how it works - starting with the configuration and synchronization process.
Brilliant Discord Integration is getting its own Discord bot - Jimmy. New customers will no longer need to create their own bots. It also means more reliable and faster synchronization and  endless possibilities for adding new features, such as server-to-website/bidirectional synchronization or multiple server support. It even lets us quickly fix most issues without requiring you to update the app.
Jimmy is designed with your privacy and security in mind. We'll thoroughly explain it to you why there is absolutely no reason to worry about it.
The bot is still in development. The transition will be simpler than you think - everything you will need to do is just adding the bot to your Discord server. The app will do the rest.
    Early Access Program
Brilliant Discord Integration's Early Access Program is for those who want to be first to access all those new features and help us by giving feedback. If you're interested - just fill this form and join our Discord server 🙂
    Support and prices
We're committed to supporting Brilliant Discord Integration for years to come. Our team is growing - I (the developer of the app) am currently the only person responsible for customer support, but I have started training new support staff and preparing both public and internal support materials.
In terms of price - for existing customers, renewal price will remain the same.
If you have any questions, feel free to send me a private message or join our Discord server.

Thank you for your feedback! Polls are just a part of a content item, but we'll see what we can do.
This happens when Font Awesome 4 is replaced with version 5. You will unfortunately need to manually adjust your theme's CSS.

Can we have an option to hide Donation Goals from the public, and/or a date range to close said donations please?
We have seasonal donations which we like to have open for a couple of months, and the only way we can remove this from the public is to delete the donation goal. Would be good is we had a closure date to prevent people donating to that goal, or hide it from public when the goal has ended.
Having to delete a goal removes all the information, donations and those who donated, and we like to keep that information.
