When you delete a donation goal it removes all data associated with it. This includes the name of the thing that people donated for. I would like to keep this information instead of deleting it so it would be nice to simply disable or deactivate a donation goal. It also helps if you want to re-enable/reactivate it later.

Yes! This can be somewhat frustrating, because as you create the goals, they start stacking up on each other on the same page and confusing members who want to donate to a specific goal. I'd like it too if we could create one goal at a time, and have just that one goal appear on the donation page, and at the same time, preserve the goals from the past.

 

A specific start and end date duration would be significant enhancement for this feature as per the above comments as you might have reached a goal for something but want it now to be archived rather than always active e.g. if it was for 2020 or a specific activity.
