Eagerly awaiting this. It's the last thing I've been waiting for to upgrade to 4.6, and I may have to bite the bullet today and go with iAwards disabled for awhile. Hoping not for too long.
 
I haven't used the automated/Rules part of it in a long time, but I understand removing that can be tricky.

IPS is saying, and I saw on my own forum, that "when" is triggered by a rebuild of the achievements.
And again I'll ask you to please stop posting here, as apparently you should file a bug, because the software is working as designed on my site, per IPS.

We log log-ins in a separate table now, but of course that table only existed with 4.6 and it's not possible to populate it from pre 4.6 data. So moving forward it won't be an issue, even with a rebuild.

It creates many log messages. Whether it’s your bug or IPS’s I don’t know. We ignore few topics AFAIK.

Right Now, I'm working on iAwards update.

From my point of view, situations like this call for an emergency email or front end push message to ALL admins. I installed the update on 5 sites and had no idea it had effectively deactivated sign-ups on all of them. (I don’t use quick-registration) And this includes sites with like 100 new members a day (and potential clients which might never come back). If I hadn’t seen this topic, the problem might have persisted for days, if not weeks. There isn’t even a backend warning. Having the main registration form working isn’t “optional” as the grey “optional update” link suggest, it’s absolutely CRUCIAL.

FIX! Call to IPS user counts method that can err under certain unknown conditions.

It is for me on 4.5, yes.

We (@iacas and myself) tracked it down, there is a small hitch with the underlying IPS method for getting these counts.
As for why only some sites only get this, and then only occasionally, remains a mystery... 
I'll push out a "patched" version of Spacious which *should* mitigate this but any subsequent errors would be on the IPS side of things. I doubt you'll see any errors post-patch though as for the most part the IPS task which calls the same method I'm using usually runs error-free so I would assume...

Thanks, yeah, I went through them one by one. There were about 20 from a deleted account, like I'd mentioned, and a surprising number (of OLD posts) that were marked as -3 in queued. I changed a lot of them to 1 so they'd show up in the approval queue and I could approve or delete them. Who knows… maybe we missed them at the time.
Got the list down to about 40, not counting the 30-50 spammy posts by bots that will be removed if they don't register (they won't) within the next week or two.
So, really, most of the old stuff was just old guest posts that may or may not have had the right flags in the database. But, every action except changing some of those columns was done in the UI on the site, either in the ModCP or the ACP, so whatever needed to be done to affect other tables I'm sure was done.

Well, I figured there was a chance that would happen.
So, I went to "Advanced Configuration" in the ACP and at the bottom of the first tab, "Server Environment," there is a "Template Disk Cache Path" setting.
Derp.

Good catch. I made a tiny copy/paste error. If I want to output any KS settings to be available for javascript purposes, I have to manually insert them into the output array, which is all well and good until you output the value of one setting for a different one.
That's how things end up not working.

Heads up that 20.1.0 is inbound. Includes a non-fix to the upgrade routine (I have no idea why there is a version in the MP with an upgrade routine that was not in the final submitted version and I'm afraid to ask - water under the bridge - and I'm chalking it up to the weirdness involved in the approval process and MP early days and leaving well enough alone), preventive removal of hooks on the Support page as IPS has inbound changes there so upgrading to the new version of Invision Community should be no problem when that is released, and a little JS bonus for the System Overview widget: it now auto-updates the 15-5-1 load percentages every two seconds. If you enjoy staring at the dashboard be aware those live load updates will halt after five minutes, otherwise you could walk away from your desktop with this widget up on the dashboard and your session would never time out. That's no good.
Altogether this is just a minor update, not an entirely planned release, but the timing was right to push something out so here it is.

Yes, from that screen you can click right through to the forum where the topic is located, but sometimes it's on page 4 or 7 or something and you can't find it readily.

I'm waiting on this bug to be fixed, and iAwards to be updated, and then I think I can finally upgrade to 4.5, now 4.5.4.
 

I have a new version that fixes the immediate welcome and a background queue to remove the legacy field rather then upgrade step.
Those who are available to test this, particularly those upgrading with lots of members. Please PM me.
