You'd be more angry if it wasn't ready when it was given to you. 🙂 Your patience will be rewarded. 👍

I know this model very well. I think it makes most sense for big players, where there are millions of users and a lot of money to go around. For smaller sites, it feels a little over the top. You have this complicated setup and then when you split the money among all the participating members, you maybe pay out $1,50 to a single one. 😉 No one really benefits from that. And it will also need a lot of oversight. If there is money to be made, there will be people who try to cheat or use click-bait in an extreme way and so on.
But sure, the model is fine. Or to put it in more general terms: Letting members earn money with a cut for the site is always good. At the moment, it’s reserved to downloads and clubs. Options for content types such as Pages articles or forum topics are certainly interesting. Tricky, but interesting.

This looks really neat. I think it will give a huge boost to the activity/participation in the forums. Great job like always guys.

I don't think there is a separate stat for that. But I can tell you that when we first enabled it our registrations more than doubled. From around 50-70 a week to around 150+
*the second jump was after we've enabled Facebook+Google login.

This is intended for a single Pages database only, it does not generate a news sitemap for discussion topics. Support for regular sitemaps in topics is built in to Invision Community.
Unfortunately the 4.4 version is no longer available but you're missing out by not upgrading to 4.5 😄
4.4 is still available and can be accessed from the changelog on the file listing.

And I realize it may not be possible to add a separate Cardholder name to the system, but when adding/entering a new credit card, I don't think the assumption should be that the Customer Name (which it does not show on the screen - though perhaps this is a setting somewhere...) is the same as the Card Holder name.

    Thank you, missed it 🤦‍♂️.
Future feature? For recurring auto-competitions would love to have a default image for when the next competition spawns.

This hasn't been very popular so I wasn't planning to update it but that said it's quite straightforward and doesn't require much in the way of support so I'll see what I can do.

You can only specify a single news sitemap (one database). The sitemap will be at /newssitemap and needs submitting to Google via search console.

The app now allows you to set a cover photo image for each competition. You can set these in the competition settings in the admin control panel.

Andy Millne reacted to Pavel Chernitsky in Why not peer-pressure people into subscribing?
We've recently launched a subscriber program and a donation campaign, and it's doing kinda meh.
    Suddenly! a wild idea appeared!
Why not have a "X people got this" or some other variant of that next to the subscription/campaign name (or below it if it's super long)?
That way all those free loading non-sub scum could see how many people there are in the community who are so much better and more generous than they are, and then feel guilty and give us their money. of course they could also see no one's buying your crappy overpriced crap and just back out of the page sinisterly laughing.
Seriously though, all the crowdfunding sites do that, and peer pressure is a genuinely good sales tool.
Technically this should be a cakewalk because you have that info plainly displayed in the subscription page in the ACP.

Your screenshot is not showing and I'm not able to reproduce this locally but if you send me a PM with an admin login I can investigate that.
@jesuralem and @Nathan Explosion There isn't any native support for videos currently. Any file uploaded will show as a downloadable link. I can look into adding video playback however.

We did away with our heavily customized forum skin and just went with the default, with our own header and footer added. Then I changed the colors of that skin to make a dark version. It required a few lines of code in custom.css and it's not quite finished, but the results are really good. This is the best our forum has ever looked, and it's also the lowest-maintenance its ever been.
The integrated GIFs, little changes like the rounded border around the reactions display, and other subtle improvements have made this update really nice. My community site feels lightweight, responsive, and alive. It definitely feels more like a "social community" than a boring old forum.
