If anyone else finds this issue also. IPS found the bug and is releasing a patch in a future version.

Get a CleanTalk subscription and the plug-in from the marketplace. Best $8 a year you'll spend.

Well, that jiggled it loose. It crept up to 81.03% done.  Once it is done, I'll drop my wait timeout back down to a reasonable (but higher than before) level.

CheersnGears reacted to RevengeFNF in [Suggestion] Add Storage Method Cloudflare R2 (Api compatible with Amazon S3)
Cloudflare R2 is a storage method like Amazon S3 and both are Api Compatible.
R2 is a lot cheaper than S3, there are the prices:

Would it be viable for IPS to add support for it?
It would be a really upgrade for IPS self hosting clients, since in R2 bandwidth is free, we only pay for storage and operations.

How about more information on the bugs that have been reported and unfixed for more than 1.5 years and others that been reported for several months? Or the management main focus now is the cloud and its new features?

Community in the Cloud, the IPS hosted version of the software which you are on.
@IPS - CIC would make for a really good use of your built-in Word Expansion feature on this site.
And as @opentype said, it's not the best clarity anymore - instead of explicitly stating the app and major feature available per-package, it's abstracted out with marketing-speak. When viewing the options on the pricing page you'll notice a number of options are actually clickable and expandable. You'll get more details there.

It’s an annoyance for us too. IPS has just recently started to remove options from lower tiers and change their plans several times in a single year. Not much we can do about it.
In general, if you are unsure, you can always ask upfront in the support topics for the products. We can only describe the products. If it says it’s for “Pages databases”, it clearly describes that Pages databases are required, but of course you need to understand what that means. If not, please ask.

The members widget contains already settings for todays / this months birthdays. It's not really exactly what you want, but better than nothing.
Just a small hint because I noticed recently that many people weren't aware of this:)

I understand about wanting the old format.  I'm just brainstorming to come up with some sort of alternative that might be easier to do programmatically but still fill the need.  Path of least resistance and all...

This was confusing me as well, and yes, it turned out my cron tasks were still under 7.4.  Maybe a line in the e-mail notice to the tune of "If your site admin panel says you are running PHP 8+, check your cron tasks or contact your server provider for assistance."

The scanner keeps reporting and disabling @Michael.J’s Collections app.  Next time it runs I’ll see if I can grab a screenshot of what it is complaining about.  That said, I have been on PHP8 for a few months and as far as I know it hasn’t been an issue.   I am not on 8.1 yet because Imagik for CPanel hasn’t been updated last I checked.

If the IP address is from a non English-speaking country, I generally put that into my CleanTalk firewall ban list.  I no longer rely solely on the SpamDefense to protect my site and CleanTalk is the best $8 a year you can spend.

Thank you for your help, apologies but I forgot to ask one final question on this topic. Once you have permanently banned a member, but then you delete their profile and account, does their name, address and IP address remain in the database to prevent them reregistering in future?

    I'm assuming you are owlsonline.com.
If so, the url owlsonline.com/ads.txt returns a text file with txt that looks quite similar to mine but with a different publisher id, which means as long as your publisher ID matches what you see in your adsense console, you should be fine and you're good to go.
