Some of my Marketplace resources are received updates as far as IPS ver 4.4, which is gonna be removed soon and out of support entirely by IPS. the most requested and frequently wanted of them is Infobox buttons and by their nature, only can be install like a normal CKEditor plugin, as .zip files... and since .zip files can't be upload in marketplace anymore as of IPS ver 4.5 forward, simply updating this resource is also stopped. I really like to continue support this, specially as of recent I have re-created them from scratch with dozens of new features and settings, but as I said there is no way to send .zip buttons along main plugin and xml file.
is it possible for IPS to accommodate for such submissions in future? just adding ability to upload additional file for plugins/app in marketplace should do the job. in Theme submission it's possible, so why not for plugin/apps? or maybe there are better way to this? as long as it solve the problem, that would be fine.

When you add a fake member online, you can also add the number of minutes that you want that particular member to be online. A task will run every half hour to remove the expired fake sessions from the online list. 

Yes but im not able to download it over Marketplace. Because its not marked as compatible with 4.7 - So i think thats why the Marketplace not show this Plugin to my 4.7 Beta forum

Martin, I wonder if you have any suggestions for how to make this more user friendly, specifically I am talking about for people who aren't used to using forums. I am looking to attract a whole new userbase who don't use forums, or have otherwise drifted away from forum use. They will need to be able to contact the person easily without having to give it too much thought. I might add a phone number field on the right hand side, but Ideally there should be something like a contact button that would open up a private message window. Is such a thing doable please?

If all your images are going to be the same size (I noticed one out of all them is not) then put this into your custom CSS file and it will get rid of the gaps.

Do you know how long this will be? 
It's just we need to upload files to our new category but have no way of selecting the category at present.

There is more than just the server to consider as well.  For example, if you're using Cloudflare (or another cloud security solution), there is a limit on the Max Upload size allowed.  If you're using mod_security, it could possibly cause issues if it's configured to look at uploads. 
Basically you need to evaluate EVERYTHING between you and the server... including your full security stack.  That's something that would happen with your host.  🙂

The cost of the ipb license is very high so it is absolutely necessary to develop the email system.
It is not possible that to contact users, it is necessary to use third-party servants such as sendgrid (otherwise very bad) which are very expensive!
Having a forum and not being able to contact users is really ridiculous.
It would also be necessary that the email recaptio be tracked to find out who no longer has the active email. This way you can only send emails to those who actually receive them and not send thousands of random emails.

It would be interesting if the suite could count daily outgoing emails, and queue into batches anything in excess of a user-defined number.  200,300,5000, etc.  An interface for managing/prioritizing emails would eventually be needed for cases where certain emails need to go out ahead of others in the queue.
