It does indeed.
We had some fun with this plugin on our community, creating a ubuesque collective user, but it's no longer working now on 4.5.4.2
Invision, please bring to your platform the key features of this plugin.
Make it so only selected groups can post anonymously.
Make it so posts can appear as posted by a selected user.
Pleeeease.
Estimate time or arrival?

I have gotten a lot of complaints about how the selected answer is taken out of order and placed right after the question because it breaks up conversations.

Good idea! 🙂
In my case, I would use it but only for chosen forums [not globally].
For forums like news, feedback, contacting the mods I find it useful. But for Chit-Chat-like forum it would be unnecessary. Thanksfully we can set in CSS where to display the badge and where to hide it. 🙂

This looks very similar to the great plugin Post Anonymously in Forums by @TSP.
One question, though: Will this feature make it possible to tell different anonymous members apart, like the plugin does, or will all anonymous posts in a topic look the same?

Sonya* reacted to Interferon in 4.5: Blog Categories
Right, because end users are going to come up with sensible categories they will all share.
I have to rename the majority of our submitted files in the downloads system because people can't use capitalization properly, misspell words, or add weird symbols to their titles. Probably 100% of the time I have to rewrite their descriptions because they don't use complete sentences. If you allow users to screw things up, they will any way they can.

Sonya* got a reaction from Interferon in 4.5: Blog Categories
A user has to create (or choose) category for every entry within his blog. Those categories are for this single blog only, not general for all blogs or users. When he submits another entry to the blog later on, he can choose already created category (one of the previous entries) or create a new category.

Sonya* got a reaction from Interferon in 4.5: Blog Categories
There are two kind of categories:
Categories for blogs, e. g. General, are there to structure blogs. They are managed in AdminCP. Categories within a blog are there to structure entries. They are entered by users who submit blog entries on the frontend.

Sonya* reacted to KT Walrus in Welcome to Invision Community 4.5
I'm starting a new community shortly and I just don't want my users to use deprecated features. Not a big deal, but if a feature is deprecated, I don't want to have someone use it and then react negatively when it goes away. Users don't like change (especially feature removals), in my experience.

I will let you in on a little secret. What bought about the new feature Per Topic Post Approval was because of the corona virus topic on IPS forums 😄 lol

Sonya* got a reaction from Gauravk in 4.5: Commerce Trials
I wish there will be not only credit card. Something like this:
Acquire a free trial version Collect the data for future invoice Invoice is automatically generated when free trial is over The customer is free to pay or abandon Is it possible with the feature?

Sonya* reacted to Adriano Faria in 4.5: Language System Updates
We (those who make/update translations) need a tool that can tell us which new language bits was added between versions so we can update our translations easily and faster.
The UNTRANSLATED filter isn't practical in this case because there are hundred of language bits that I (and a lot of people here) didn't translate (like countries, emoticons, etc) and they are there so it's a "false" positive in this case.

Agree. I come across lot of "communities" with a long list of empty subforums and no topics in most of them. Nothing unique. Activity stream reveals the "community's" health. Dead before born.
I make the most time C providing content that is worth to discuss 😉
then follows P (joining other communites related to mine and being active there, but true active not only because...)
and then sometimes I (I have some contacts that seems to be useful, but most of them only seem 😄 )
H is nothing for me.
