To change a user's group, you must switch between administration, why not allow editing the group directly from the user's profile or through his post with the opening of a modal?

I miss request ability to show logo according different language. This little thing made me have to create logo that contains different languages at one image, please complete this internationalization need.

Can we get an ACP option/toggle to open ALL links in posts (including internal) in a new tab? I won't even ask for a new toggle. you can add this to the "open External links" thingy to like a drop down or sumthn' 🙂

Currently there is not a possibility to align the block inside ckeditor, I think this should be a option to align it but the default "justify" ckeditor widget don't catch iframe block because javascript code remove the parent paragraphs <p> (CKEDITOR.plugins._replaceLinkWithEmbed) and the only allowed content alignable is

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, confusion and poor handling of this issue. Although this functionality has existed for quite some time, this was not identified as a widespread / abused issue until recently. When the growing concern was brought to management attention, we acted as quickly as possible. 
A red warning banner should display for anyone impacted; I apologize if it didn't for some of you initially. We have corrected the issue - pushing remote notifications to AdminCPs is not a system we use very often, so there was a kink. 
Once again, my sincerest apologies for the ball being dropped on this; it is, as you know, not typical of and we will do our best to ensure it doesn't happen again. 
 

I too had this problem, over 389,000 emails... I was only notified by my host who in turn wasn’t very happy.
However we disabled this function and it has obviously fixed this issue. But, now we have to find out if our server has been blacklisted.

a spammer has sent out about 1.4 million spam mails (1,400,000) which results in a direct loss of about 800$ and counting (payment to Sendgrid) and a damaged sender reputation for my forum Now I realize that
you are aware of this problem for weeks you have a patch ready since Tuesday and you didn't tell your paying customers a word We need to talk. I am not amused.

As i already said, it should search not only on tags but also on titles, including localized ones (as it was in 3.x).

I know this probably isn't what you intended for this app, but it works so lovely!  I was wondering if theres any chance to add a feature where you have to complete 1 quiz, before you can take the next.
Ie, we have Basic, Intermediate and Advanced.  Can a feature be added where we add the quiz ID of the Basic to the Intermediate test and it checks you've completed it, before you can take the Intermediate test.

Before I complain, I want to start off with a nice note. Since joining IPB my users have loved the website, commented on how nice it works compared to VB & I have loved your support. When ever I have a bug or problem you guys usually reply pretty fast, sometimes during the night!
But here is where I am confused, angry & very, seriously sad.
I love IPB. I think it is one of the most solid products in the market, I think it is also the most professional both company wise (how you guys release things when it's ready & not before) and also product wise, it's very professional.
For over a year now, I have STRUGGLED to get to grips with pages. I look at the documentation & it's longer than the bible & not very user friendly at all!
For over a year now I have messaged support asking how to do things in pages & they say I have to come to the forums as it requires custom code! For simple things like adding the article image in the listing page!
For over a year now I have Tried pages, given up... Tried again, given up. There is so much potential in pages - I have seen it on professional website (websites with coders & budget!) but people like me CANT use it.
 
Why.... WHY can't IPB make pages easier. Why can't there be a wizard or Pre made templates!
Front page templates... Do you wanna display articles like a blog (photo to the side with description beside), or like a polariod (image with description below), or like a grid. 1 main article & then smaller articles below etc. Joomla asks you things like... Display title, date, time, author. Main article: 0-10, Secondary Articles 0-10. Its so easy!
Listing pages... Do you want to display the first image in the article, do you want to display article rating, do you want to display article sorting bar.
Article pages... Have a page builder, similar to what you do with blocks. Where you can create fields on a preview page & move them around/edit them. Currently if I want an image uploaded in an article and displayed to the right of the content, I have to custom format it, look up HTML guides on Google etc.
 
I just wish IPB could make pages & frontpage more like Joomla. Joomla frontpage is so easy. Then also keep the difficult custom options for people who are more pro & who know what they are doing.
I am so annoyed by the fact I can't easilly create a beautiful looking frontpage & article area, that I am considering going back to another software. Your forum software is so easy to use, but pages is rocket science.
 
Support won't help me, I have seen users here struggle to create things even when working together and helping eachother, and the only other option is to pay someone tons of money... Please consider making pages easier for noobs. PLEASE

There is one setting now:
Moderate new records
But one VERY Important setting is missing:
Moderate records changes
Without this setting the whole system is useless as the user can post cool new posts and after they get approved they are posting porn stuff in it ... and i dont even get informed about post changes AT ALL!!! do i always have to get there and see if there is changed content ... every hour, every minute?
So why dont moderate post changes?
Here is a possible solution:
after the user changes the post inform moderator save a copy of this post: "set this post for moderation" from now on this user sees only this "edit-copy" of this post, all other users see the original post let the user edit this copy so many times he wants to after every submit, the post is sent for submiting (if revisions are enabled only this revision) no need to hide or delete the original post unit changes are confirmed as its different postID if revisions are enabled => use it insead of postID or always use revisions when wiki-editing is enabled after the moderator confirmed the changes ovverride the orginal post with the new version delete the copy or save a revision inform user => post approved This system right now makes absolutely no sense without changes-moderation. So please make some changes or disable it completly.

A very belated response - but thanks for pointing me in the right direction for those plugins.
I'll certainly take a look at both, but I still feel in the future it would be great to see more announcement options within core IPS.
For example:
Announcements via notifications Announcements via private messages Announcements as popup window Announcement where something must be agreed to / clicked / acknowledged before proceeding to use site (similar to when rules/terms change, but customisable for other uses) I realise different paid plugins can do some of these, but I am sure I can't be alone in hoping that IPS consider adding more ways to directly reach users in future versions.
