I see it's still not back in 4.2.4 pre-release. 
Could someone from IPS give us an idea on when it's coming back? 

I should be able to update the plugin tonight with that option. I'll keep you posted.

ok , the system was saying that it was 1003 installed but after downloading  and uploading the latest from here it appears that its all working now
so all now resolved

Yes, you should be able to pass type ( 0 = buyer, 1 = seller, 2 = trade/swap ) and content_id in the query string now.

"&group=calendar" should work. Use the name that appears in the layer list in the map.
I see what's going on. You're hitting the browser storage limit. In Chrome that is 10MB (you can test that here). It is able to save the first 10 cache files, but then the 11th and 12th would push it over the limit. The 13th only just fits. I'll have to explore some other options, or at least see if there's a way to compress the data before storing it.
There you have it, @jair101. 5200 markers is the limit.
@VR6Pete: Sure this isn't happening to you as well?
I'll take a look at this again for one of the upcoming versions. Let me just fix the marker issue first.

I've just tested, and the only issue I've found so far was the profile map which was missing. That was an easy fix and it's backwards compatible with 4.1.

Not in current version. Next version will have a advert center control on ACP, where admins will be able to do so. Will be released next week.

Guess you'll learn something every day. Didn't know you had to manually push something to the search index when it's not coming from a regular form.

as still cumbersome to use. I need to delete duplicate posts and carry out manual editing of the database entries to tie up the existing topic with the artcile

yes - if wish another topic created
no - if wish to use existing topic
 
the current default of creating a 'new' one does mean that a manual database edit is always needed if want to get rid of the 'new' topic and 'use' the existing topic
