Tarun reacted to AlexJ in Leaving community after 18 years :(
Marketplace was really good option to find everything in one spot. Now i need to register on 20 different sites and half I don't even remember.
It's like Apple telling to it's customer, here take iPhone. You want apps? Go on developers site and install from their. Jeez, what a nightmare.
Take care of your health. Rest everything will go on.
PS I am one of the customers who is unhappy because support/ticket system is gone and have to deal with broken donation system in store.

Tarun reacted to Chris027 in Marketplace Closure
I just don’t see myself looking at the providers page, then going to their individual pages, then looking at apps. Most of the apps I use were found by browsing here, not even searching.
I’m guessing I’ll gradually use the stock, less good, version of Invision Community. Kind of a bummer.

Just want to say I would not use/trust that service. Think about what it does. Everything you type is keylogged. That may very well include your passwords, banking information, and more.

Tarun reacted to Nakamura RTS in Please add Twitch for the Social Profiles
While one can mod these in, I 100% agree it needs to be officially supported. No Tiktok, no Discord, no Twitch.
It's 2022, this should be a top priority now.

Will 4.5 include support for hCaptcha?
CloudFlare just switched to it due to growing privacy concerns with Google.

The issue has been resolved, and so quickly at that.
In case anyone experiences the issue in the future I'm sharing what I was informed.
I'll post updates as I receive them.

A plugin is nice and all, but it requires maintenance on both ends. Support for this being integrated into the IPS platform is more ideal.

Tarun got a reaction from Thomas P in htaccess for IPS Forums
This is a custom .htaccess to use on the IPS Community Suite Forums. It helps to improve your forums Google Page Speed and YSlow scores.
The top segment is the same .htaccess that is generated by the IPS Forum software.
The bottom segment is based upon research of several websites and the references listed below. Please be careful when using this file because the contents may be incompatible with your server setup. Preventative measures have been taken to ensure that it should be safe to use in any Apache based environment.
Google recommends a minimum of one week: https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/LeverageBrowserCaching
GTmetrix recommends a minimum of one month: http://gtmetrix.com/leverage-browser-caching.html
This file is provided as-is and works with Apache based systems only. Server configurations may vary and there may be unexpected results, preventative measures have been included to try and keep any problems from occurring.
This resource is not supported. Help will be offered to the best of my ability and the community's help and feedback are welcomed. Contributions to improve the overall performance gained by this file are encouraged.

No updates have actually been made. I've simply checked the generated IPS 4.3 .htaccess for changes.
The file is fully 4.3 compatible.
