Hi, Have just read that support tickets will be depreciated. We use this functionality to provide confidential advice and support to young people who don't want to use the public forums to access help. Are there any alternative solutions or is it possible for us to keep this functionality as it is incredibly popular and many of our members really depend on it. Thanks, Liam

When I look at the group badges that you use here on invisioncommunity.com, they look pretty sharp to me. However when I upload images in the group settings, the badges in the postbit look either way too big (when I use images with a higher width/height in pixels, e.g. 500x200) or very blurry (low width/height in pixels, e.g. 50x20). How can I make my group badges look as sharp as yours?

This might be a stupid question, but I cannot find the correct setting in the AdminCP to control the Max File Size restriction in the editor's upload field. Where can I adjust this? Also, why is there no space between the current setting (24.41) and the file suffix (MB)? I want it to look like the Max total size info (24.41 MB instead of 24.41MB). Thanks in advance!

Hello, is there a way to prune/archive old private messages of all members or members who have been active since a specific time? In the meantime our pm table is so big and we have thousands of pms (15-20 years ago) from non-active members. Also I can not find a feature to manage my own pms. Even in my mailbox I have hundreds of old pms I want to delete but there is no feature for mass deletion. Thanks in advance for any help. Best regards, Roland

We re sharing a lot of posts from our forum to social media. When we share, a generic logo from our forum shows up on social media. Not very good… How can we change this to show the first picture in the first post in a thread instead? Thee was a maintained Plugin for this in the marketplace, but no longer supported. So I'm trying to set up an online newspaper covering local news in my area. However, I need some kind of plugin that works with Pages. That basically requires a subscription or signin in order to read the full article. This way, when people visit my website and read my articles, they're forced to sign up. So that way I have their e-mail address for my Weekly Newsletter. Or I can. Provide a preview and force people to subscribe. My website link is crazyforum.no I need help with google adsense. I've tried to times but they say i don't follow their guidelines. Someone told me if i want to have adsense on my website, i need to have blogs. So my question is. Is it possible to have google adsense without blogs and only forum? Is it a theme i need to buy? I reached out to my payment processor because a certain customer of mine was double charged twice in a row. Stripe is telling me that invision community is sending 2 webhooks for his payment creating 2 different transactions on there end. How do I resolve this?

Is there a way to create a custom event type? ie. under "search events", the only options I have are to select the date range and select a "Type" - and the only options for "type" are "Online events" and "Physical events". I can see an option to add tags when creating an event which should be used in the global search, but we would like a way to filter our events by even type from the Events page. Is this possible?

Hello, in Pages I created Database, Categories, Fields and then added Records. In some categories, where is record listing I see "admnistrators banner"... or what is it.... titled topic_posted_in_groups As you can see, some records have this, but some not. What is it? I cannot see any setting for this.

Had a baby and the last 2 years have been tough. Now I need to revamp my forums but I also need to be able to post topic or comments outside of the forums into a wp or a php page. Is there a paid tool I can buy to do this or does IPS have a plug in now that provides integration outside of the site to display topics so that when people click the links they are sent back to the forum? I'm developing my first menu with Invision Community v4.7.9. My Main Menu, level one, is home2000, Amerifax, Wisconsin, Bob, Browser The browser has a second level with Clubs, Forums, Blogs, etc. I want my first level to have its own Clubs, Forums, etc. How can I add them to my first level and with their own data? Ok, I may be going stir crazy, but I seem to remember there being a setting to feature the uploaded image in a pages database record. Is that a setting somewhere? I'm not seeing the ability to do so on the record itself, and I've been through the database settings. If I remember right, it would show the larger image above the record text. Any help would be great, thanks!

Hello, I just activated read permissions for guests on a forum. The guest still receive the following 2S100/2 error however. "The page you are trying to access is not available to guests, but may be available if you sign in." Permissions confirmed. I also confirmed the "Guests" group has site access in general. This forum is the apps default page. Does it take time to propagate or am I missing a permission?

Hi Everyone - I use Invision Community as one part of my membership site. I was wondering if there are ways to take precautions so that there is no sharing of log in credentials. For example, I don't want someone to join the membership, and have them share their login credentials with their colleagues, etc. The board goes beyond discussion and includes access to lead generation information, which is why I only want paying members to have access. I wasn't sure if there are certain analytics or plugins that can help with this additional layer of security. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
