I ask Invision (Matt!): Can you please add an ACP option to the search system so that search terms are AND'ed together instead of using OR? I have nearly 2 million posts on my forum. Many searches simply return too many search results because of this default behavior, and I bet 98% of my users have no idea they need to prefix search terms with "+" in order to AND them together. I modified 2.3 in order to make this AND behavior the default default, but the more complex search system in 3.0 frightens me a bit in terms of making modifications. I've posted this quite some time ago... but couldn't find it by searching. The ability to mass move search result threads would be real handy. is there a way I can sort these mods by paid or free downloads? http://community.invisionpower.com/forum/431-community-download-topics/ It's rather annoying that I finally find a few useful mods and 90% are paid. I don't have a problem paying for a mod, but I just bought the thanks mod for 10$ and it's a waste of money in its current state. It's VERY plain, no stats, you don't get an alert when your "thanked" please say there is a way to sort these mods from paid/free, also do devs not put screenshots or live demos? I would like to see the user's thumbnail next to the entry for the "Recently Added Topics" block in the Forum home and the portal. I tried to add it in manually but the query for that block is obviously not getting the user value from the "profile_portal" table. It would be nice in that the other blocks contain the user's thumbnail but this one doesn't. Thanks!

I just tried to access the Customer Resources area looking for new hooks and such, only to have it come up in a blank page with no categories, just 'Users Browsing'. Any ideas? Already tried relogging.

(I originally posted this in the wrong forum, so reposting here). When I initially installed the IP.Chat module, I disabled the "Who is Chatting?" hook because it wasn't displayed properly in my various and sundry skins. This has since been remedied (such as by the recent release of the Community Skins) and I wanted to re-enable this hook. Upon doing so, the hook is not appearing in my "Board Statistics" box as it does on this forum. I do have the two-related template bits in my skins, I did rebuild all the caches and even restarted my web server in case XCache was caching the PHP files. IP.Chat really needs a "Protected Groups" feature that allows you to select groups that cannot be kicked or banned. I just had one of my mods kick me out of the chat. It was done jokingly, but I was surprised and ideally a "Protected Groups" option would be a standard feature of IP.Chat. :) Thanks, ..Al

In 2.3.6, it was SOOO simple and easy to do this but in 3.0.x (I'm using 3.0.3), if I'm wanting to delete members (one by one) who were registered between two certain dates and have less than 1 post, it provides you with a list of those members but to delete each one, you have to click their username, which takes you into their profile settings and then click on Delete Member. After doing that, it takes you back to the search screen and not the screen that had summarised all those members. I'm finding I'm having to right click on a members' username to open their profile in a new tab/window and then delete them there before switching back to the previous tab with the list…

I have subscriptions on my site. What I'd like to do is open the chat to everyone from say, between 8pm and 11pm every night, but only allow my subscribers access to the chat during other times of the day. Right now there is no way to do this. Would be great if you could setup a "schedule" for when certain groups have access to the chat. This could replace the "Enable Chat" and "Disable Chat" options that are presently available. When one of these times approaches, the chat room could warn users in the chat (say, five minutes before, "Members Group Chat Access Begins in 5 Minutes"), and when the end time approaches, "Members Group Access Ends in 5 Minutes"). This is just a small small feature request. On the status box it reads "What's on your mind?". On Click the message disappears. Would it be possible if the user does not input anything in the text box and goes on blur the text "What's on your mind?" populates back into the textbox? Thanks,

When we installed the latest release candidates on our beta website mentioned here, why did it also update our IP.Subscriptions to version 2.0.0 Beta 1? This has broken this feature via the "My Apps" section in the ACP now, it throws a database error... Was this included in these releases by accident? I believe it was somehow bundled with the latest RC for IP.Blog. How do we fix our IP.Subscriptions so it is functioning again?

I purchased the chat module for our forum, entered the key as per the screen shot instruction page in the documentation section of this site, set up my groups access and moderation options switched the board on (see attached screen shot of the chat services settings page, but whilst the chat link has appeared at the top of the forum, following the link just reloads the forum index. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I've missed? The only option I have no setting for is the chat server field. I don't have any information to enter here. Am I missing something?
