I don't mind that the process is time-consuming. I understand that uploading a large amount of files or images is simply going to take awhile. I get that. But what I don't like, however, is needing to physically babysit my files and click through intermediate steps, the totality of which requires me to watch over the entire process. It's not just time-consuming, it's time-attentive and requires me to physically be present through the ENTIRE upload process. To be blunt, once I queue my photos, I have better things to do. 1. I don't see any way to delete more than one emoji at a time. Am I missing something? On a top of it if you delete one emoji ACP screen reverts to "Emoticon Groups" page and I have to reopen emoji group again to delete another emoji. Pretty painful.

Please consider a Password toggle for uploaded files. We have a situation where downloads need to be restricted to people in an individual basis, not a group basis. Having a simple field for "Password Protect Download?" would provide address this issue and, for those who do not need it, it's a simple toggle to not use it. Ideally, I would like to see it implemented as follows: In the AdminCP for the Downloads App settings, there could be a global setting to "Allow passwords on files". Since years, we could use the special "index.php" with IP.Content (Now Pages) to use the "Pages" e.g. on www.domain.tld and the forum/community on community.domain.tld - as the IPS team provides this opportunity since years on the support forums (e.g. here and here and a lot of places more) i think this is not a "hidden" feature and was not planned to be supported in the past (i started a ticket and this is the answer i read out of the replys). is there a quick way to MUTE notifications (via email) without flipping a bunch of switches and just MUTE these notices when on vacation or (in the hospital) and a quick link in the EMAIL to quickly mute the post until some date. it never fails when I am away from normal schedule some topics that I follow gets very chatty.

The Chosen default text for text editor is not suitable for all languages The easy change of the default font adn size should be allowed i was advised earlier that is it currently a lengthy process in IPS4 , but i do not know how far is this True i added a post in Tech support for the same https://community.invisionpower.com/forum/497-technical-support/ But in all cases i beleive one standard font cannot be suitable for all languages, ,so the default font and font size should be easily altered

Would it be useful for the Marketplace topics,or on the products themselves in the Marketplace... to have an FAQ for the developers to add Q&A to? So each product also has an FAQ attached to it which might save the devs time and be useful to the users.

Since I am having a horrific time with this v4 update - and have submitted more than a dozen tickets already , I felt maybe it would be useful for the developers to know that all is not well with v4. my 2c ( I have been using IPS since September 2010 - 5 year now ) terrible: - all file ratings are gone , every download rated since you installed Downloads v1 is gone in v4 meaning: mod makers lost their feedback users are left clueless - all customization done before in each category is now lost , you can do it all over again very bad: - no missing topic checker - no orphan file checker - no download stats , no broken files, no pending files attached to each category as …

So with the introduction of cover photos it seemed logical to add them to albums, they are images after all. We have them for events!? The current album page looks like this: This results in a ton of white-space under the left sidebar, when using a right sidebar it means there isn't much room to show off the actual images. Isn't this a better layout? No left column and a nice big album cover photo, pretty much the reason they were invented. I'll beat the drum again for "compulsory album selection" and together they make gallery much more use-able and better looking.

I'm probably reading this wrong, but it seemed like in this older topic that it was meant to be possible to enter an event with no end time. While my upcoming events from 34x converted with a singular time as intended all new events and any attempt to edit an existing event forces a spanned event that cannot be undone. I thought this might be a conversion issue but have been informed it's just the way it is. I very much wish to be able to have "point in time" events as many events simply do not have a concept of duration or it is actively counterproductive. In 3.4 you could put the pointer anywhere in the window, right click, paste, and it would appear where the cursor is. In 4.0 the paste option does not appear unless the arrow is on the same line as the cursor. This causes members to think something is wrong with paste. Especially when you have an empty editor, and the cursor is at the top. You click anywhere in the window but paste does not appear. Instructing members to line up the cursor and pointer is not practical, and is a never ending cycle. Can this be addressed? Thanks

Just an idea for a feature enhancement After upgrade from IPB 3.4.8 to 4.0.12.1 it may be better if the forum didn't re-index and delete ALL image attachments from the uploads folders (with the exception of the last few weeks). The images were (obviously) present at conversion so I assume re-indexing has caused this to happen.

Please add an option to display advertisements in selected applications and forums. For example, some people might not want to show Adsense ads in forums where users discuss sex/drugs/gambling etc. because that could easily get you banned. It also doesn't make sense to display ads in forums and areas that are not accessible to guests and Adsense crawlers, such as Profiles or Settings.

I'm trying to disable pasting as formatted text by adding config.forcePasteAsPlainText = true; to applications ▸ core ▸ interface ▸ ckeditor ▸ ckeditor ▸ config.js but it doesn't have any effect. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Right now if I create a custom DB in Pages and I want to put some custom CSS/JS on a form field, it's made difficult by the fact that fields on the edit page have names like "content_field_18". I propose that instead of randomly generated names, they use the template ID associated with the field on the IPS backend. So a field named "embed_type" would receive the name/ID "content_field_embed_type" on the edit page, which is easier to work with when adding custom code. I would appreciate IPS feedback on this matter.

Why can't there be a universal user pane? On side, on top, here, there. The blogs/gallery/records have the user pane on top of the post with no info info and the mini avatar. You cannot tell who is in what group, location, anything, and my members are used to the forum user pane. How can we switch to that? Can we please have settings? Per app possibly for those that want different? PS. This may be an oversight, since forums used be the parent app, and when you went to child apps you already knew the info, but now you don't need forums. So we need the full pane ability. Ex: imo this looks horrible and you can't tell if the person asking to download IPS is a client until…
