Here is a scenario: Step 1. A new user clicks "sign up". Step 2. They are shown items they can purchase. They add one to the cart and click "continue to registration". (ok so far) Step 3. They are taken to a page displaying the cart with the selection they just made and are shown two options: "continue shopping" & "check out" . We went from "continue to registration" to this page? Ok, I guess this step can be useful if they change their mind about what they want in the cart. However, it would be far more practical to deal with this during the previous step. Hello, I recently purchased Pages for the purpose of using as a way for members to create a database of records. The ability to add custom required fields was a huge selling point, but I was disappointed to find out that none of those fields can be searched. I'm now having to place all of these fields in the "Default Value" field of the content editor and hope that people actually fill them out and don't remove them. Basically, the custom fields feature, as powerful as it is, is useless to us if values entered into it cannot be searched for. I know, reactions work the way they do and I could always revert back to the regular like function, but our community developers require more finetuning options for reactions. It should be possible for developers (f.e. in "automation rules") to address specific reactions. Reactions are great, but since their introduction and implementation, there are a lot of problems with coding special behaviors if a specific reaction is given or received. Reactions could have so much capabilities and potential. Even if IPS decides not to integrate more functions into them, please give our developers the opportunity and chance to code the hell out of them Thanks.

I'd like to suggest the following two functions as integration among the apps, so admins have at least some sort of barebone cross-functionality: PROMOTE: The same promote as in IPB 3, where you cross-promote a post's content from one app to another app (IP.Blogs, IP.Pages, IP.Board). For example: you promote a post in IP.Board to an article in IP.Pages. SWEEP: Where you aggregate and sweep a post's image attachments or file attachments to IP.Gallery or IP.Downloads, respectively. For example: you sweep the image attachments from a post in IP.Board to an album in IP.Gallery.

Is it just me or does this feel wrong? If a Club Owner has no permission outside of his/her Club, why is he/she allowed to move a topic from his/her Club into a Forum. Shouldn't it only be allowed to move inside the forums of the Club itself?

Hello, From what I'm seeing after working on the Pages and Blog Apps, there's no way to add these types of image tags other than manually. Looks like an alt tag is automatically added based upon the thumbnail name that is created, but having the ability to add custom title and alt tags by perhaps double clicking the image would be really convenient for SEO purposes. Additionally, the option to set any links to open in the same or new window would be highly useful in my opinion, right now it seems that all of the above has to be added in source mode after adding the image, and many times the editor doesn't seem to like it. Just an idea!

Anyone who knows the background for this, in version 4 only downloads can be controlled with permissions. As far as I can tell there are no workarounds. (We want to keep uploads of files and documents to certain forums)

Hey All, Bare with me as I try to explain this one. On communities one of the most underwelming and used features are pools as far as I can tell over the past decade or so of starting my own sites and being part of dozens of sites. The reason why I think this is very simple: You can only have one poll (having multiple questions is nice but not enough). Major communities and big boards have mega threads, massive debates, and threads that span hundreds if not thousands of pages in a matter of hours. We have the facility to add a message to the top of each topic. It would increase the usefulness of this feature if we could limit it's view to a group or groups of members. Having discussed the feature with our Moderator's, we are struggling to find a use for it as it is

Hello, I am wondering (and really hoping) that IPB wants to make some changes here and there needed for any forum, to comply with the GDPR law which is going to be active on the 25th of May 2018. If IPB doesn't make a few of the needed changes then they will lose all of their EU customers and alot of non EU customers as well because even non EU forums would have to follow these rules if they aim in the EU market, and the fines are insanely high. Hello, I need to manually clear all cache with secondary plugins after each upgrade. If I don't clear cache I can't click on menu buttons, can't post anything. It's same for users too. Community stops working. After each upgrade this cache clearing should be automatic.

Hello, Working with Pre-defined Tags in IPS is really enjoyable. Something I really wanted back in IPS 3.4. Also Quick Tag editing is very helpful. In how Pre-defined Tags work, I think there is a room for improvement. I have pre-defined tags like: Apple smart phones, Samsung smart phones and son on... Suggestion list only works when you type "Apple" or "Samsung", but for example it should show something when you type "smart phones"

Hi, Currently there is a difference in presentation between when a post is hidden, and when the topic is hidden. When a post is hidden, then there is for example the following text next to it: Hidden by TSP, Just now - No reason given While if the topic is hidden, then on the first post it just says: Hidden To see information about who was hiding the topic you have to hover the hide icon next to the topic title. However, moderators on our forum say they would also like this information presented in the same manner as on any post in the topic. It could for example change Hidden to «Topic hidden by TSP, Just now - No reason given», to clarify it's the …

I have noticed, that the IP-Address is not shown in mobile devices/view. As the IP-Address for moderators is sometimes essentials, also when they can not access a desktop computer, I would recommend to make it visible on mobile devices.

Hello, I know that revenue splitting for Downloads is possible... but would it be possible to have revenue splitting for normal products? I have some products that I would like to have custom agreements with our wholesalers, and it would be way easier if I could just have the revenue automatically split directly from the product... instead of having to manually pay them afterwards.

The method which is called "Google Authenticator" and proposes the app of the same name in fact can be handled with other applications (which are much more easy to use and has more features like backup, multidevice sync, etc) such as Authy. Most people don't even know what they have an choice for this method, because instructions don't point it. Here is more info on this. Also there is already available separate method which is called "authy" but uses sms/call/push methods. So at current state it is not informative and misleading now. Now that I can mess with it a little more (have more time) there is some more functionality that is missing that needs to come in a future version. Ability to turn off (hide)/delete features. Currently once you enable something on a club you are stuck with it. If I create too many topics tabs I can't delete one. Ability to create moderator/owner permissions only features For most places they need a "staff" like area to discuss changes/issue etc. So being able to create/add features that are "club staff" only would be ideal. I'm sure I'll think of more as I continue on.

I want to sell two membership options. Currently, I can't prevent someone from adding both to the cart and purchasing them at the same time. Of course, It's unlikely a user will do that, but why not allow for that setting. I'm sure there may be other scenarios where you might want a user to purchase either one product or another. (especially ones that move users to a new member group)
