Greetings, We sometimes need to create a new forum on our site and then move relevant discussion forums into this new forum. For instance, I just created a new Dreamcast forum on AtariAge, and there are thousands of existing topics that need to be moved into this forum. Unfortunately, there seems to be no easy way to do this. On Invision 3.4.x, there was a checkbox that you could use to select multiple topics and then moderate on those topics. For instance, move all those topics into another forum. That was extraordinarily useful, and it boggles the mind why this hasn't been carried over into 4.x. So this is something newish and I know that there is the twitter integration so this could be an awesome addition. This may not work "with" the integration but it would be a good SEO thing to allow for people to set it up. https://dev.twitter.com/cards/overview Just a thought.

So when you submit something to downloads you can’t rate (or last I checked) your own file. This should be either an option or the same for pages, forums etc. I think it’s silly to have an article rated by the person that made it. Unfortunately save for hiding or deleting it I can’t prevent it.

Hello, one of the inconvenience is after adding a item to cart, the product page is viewed by the user, don't show the quantity added and the amount is. In my use of scene, the users need to select more than one product, regularly 10 or 20 products, right now is so tricky you have to exit the product page and go to the cart notification to see which products are already added, because maybe you have to enter the store page again for more added items to cart action. Given the length of time taken for a relatively mature forum on a different provider (e.g. vBulletin) to convert to Invision - a forum I run with around 2.5 million posts has taken two and a half days, for example - would it not be prudent to offer the conversion process as a CLI command? This would allow the server the site is to be hosted on to be utilised to its maximum in terms of memory usage, and would also prevent the need for the site admin to have a browser tab open on the conversion process for the entirety of the operation. It's not practical for popular sites to need to go down for days in order to convert and hopefully improve the experience for its user…

Hi there! Does anyone find themselves using a Featured image for their homepage only, but don't want to include the Featured image in the topic itself? It would be awesome to have an option to tell the topic to hide the featured image. It could increase load times for that topic but also still display in the homepage. Thoughts? 😅 BTW I use Super Blocks for the layout, and have the Featured image plugin installed so people see a thumbnail when texting a link to their friends or promoting on social media.

Good day, this is my first post in the forums! I wanted to ask you a question about autocomplete searches. It is great to have that functionality in AdminCP to search for options that would take some time to remember and locate. I was wondering whether this is something that could be enabled in the forum as well. I see that autocomplete searches are not a possibility when using the forums, it's only available in adminCP. Is that something that could be done as a plugin? Or something that is planned? Hi there, I think it'd be cool to have a "test" send button when sending bulk emails. I test my emails by creating a unique group, then creating a new member using one of my email addresses, then sending it to that group. Would be awesome if there was a "send test" button that sent your email to an email address you specify instead. Hope that makes sense. Just a thought 🙂

Guys, C'mon...?! Why don’t you guys build your own, or integrate with some of the top email marketing solutions? We have all these “enhanced” features that integrate with other services, but the one that seems to be the most obvious is strangely missing. IPB community owners need a proper email marketing solution! When you’re in the menu and you go to a sub menu, you have to scroll up in order to see the text/links. Menu > Support and More > (empty, scroll up to see the links). I was meant to post this a while ago as it’s really annoying. This is also relevant to the current beta (but my feedback relates to the currently stable edition of IPS). Could this please be improved? Also can the market place have it’s own link and submenu rather than being hidden behind support and more, as it took me ages to find the Marketplace link on mobile (cell phone).

A topic was created to help staff update. The user menu is missing along with other menus on mobile. There is a white line next to the back button. It would be a great idea if, when an Admin or Moderator made a comment on a Reported Post issue, the comment was viisble to, and messaged to, the raiser of the Reported Post. It would save having to look up the complainer and then having to PM them. It would make lfe a lot easier. Thanks, Matt

Please consider making it possible to select all posts on all pages of a given thread through moderation tools. If, for example, I wanted to select all hidden or unhidden posts in a thread containing hundreds of posts, I'd have to paginate through each page of the thread and individually select that option. I'd like a "select all posts in this thread / select all hidden posts in this thread / etc." option in the moderation drop down. This feature existed in our previous forum solution and is greatly missed.

So we have this problem in our community where we developed a "dark mode" template for members who just prefer things that way, whether it is easy on the eyes or to save battery on their mobile devices. However, we've run into this conundrum and cannot seem to fix it.... We have "Paste behavior" set to Rich Text with giving the members the option to paste as Plan Text instead. If a member copies text that was originally designated as black and pastes it into the his post, the black text color attribute carries over into the post as part of that Rich Text. Members who use our dark mode template, in which the content area is black, will not see any quoted text, because…
