Hello, I'm not sure how to explain this but it's easy to show with pictures: Then you click one of the links and we get this: The listing of the articles is produced 3 times when you select an article. I looked at the Template, it's just the stock template. and I guess i don't understand enough about the template as i can't see any place where it would produce that 3 times... Thanks for the help

Since my upgrade to IPB v4 - I cannot seem to work out how to edit my Navigation Menu I used to have a link to my 'parent' site - and I want to remove the NEW labels I used to have this option in 3.4.6 - any ideas?

Hi, After upgrading from v3.47 to v4.0.2 I have several pending background processes... the problem is that they are stopped and have stopped their evolution... I've tried with the option "Alternatively, you can manually run them now and wait until they all complete." but after a few it returns the same message "[an error occurred while processing this directive] " and continues without advancing... I have the following pending processes: Rebuilding post reputationDeleting legacy topic dataReindexing filesRebuilding posts (this at 61,76%)Another additional 11 tasksAll are at the beginning, at 0% except the indicated one... Any tip for ending the background processes?

On my IP4.0.2 test site I have a manual html block with the following code and it displays just fine when I use the block manager to drop the widget into place on a page. However, on my live 4.0.2 site, the block will not display. Hello I've added a German translation to my forum (4.0.2). The import feature seemed to work quite well. Yesterday I uploaded a new version of the language pack. But some changes are not reflected in the forum. I've also changed a few keys slightly myself. But those changes are also not visible in the forum. I haven't found a cache in the AdminCP for translations. Do I have to empty a translation cache somewhere to see these changes?

Hi all, Wondered if anyone can get their Mandrill app working with IPS 4.0? I've tried and entered the details required as well as enabled it through the ACP but my test emails won't even go through as it shows as 'connection timed out' and I don't understand why. Fire away any questions Thanks

I uploaded 4.0 over 3.4 files, and it did nothing but create pages showing PHP code. So I gutted the files and uploaded 4.0. It's so completely different in my database. Can I just port over my users and topics? If not, I'd say the instructions given here http://community.invisionpower.com/4docs/getting-started/install-and-upgrade-r8/ are completely inadequate. I mean crap...tell me there is a way to port over my pre-existing forum.

In 3.4.x if we had a forum that could be viewed, but not the topics/posts, it would still show post count(s) and would say Protected Forum instead of the last post information. Now, on 4.0.2, it does not display any post count and says "No Posts Here Yet". How do I get it to show post count/protected forum again? By showing no post count and displaying No Posts Here Yet, it makes the site look DEAD, which is a very bad thing. We have a need to have certain forums restricted from certain member groups and guests, but we want the post count to still be displayed like before so people know that there is activity going on. -RazorSEdge (Cory)

Good evening, I only bought IPB4 today so excuse my lack of knowledge. I created a new theme from scratch and am slowly finding my way through the options and features. I am now looking to edit my CSS files, but when I go to the editing screen I cannot see any of these files except for custom.css. How do I go about editting the other (standard) .css files? Cheers! I'm just getting back into running forum software after 10 years. I turned the signatures on everywhere that I could find in AdminCP. They show up in the profiles as being able to add one (Labeled: core_pfieldgroups_0) but anything that you add is not seen when posting. I ensured that all members were enabled to see signatures. That last part leads me to a second question: How do you make global changes in the members group? For some reason, the default when I made the group was signatures un-enabled. I had to do each member's profile individually because I didn't know how to make a global change.
