I'm likely missing the obvious but using the Theme command of 'Set as Members Theme', sets the theme for the entire site membership but as it does not seem to include setting it for guests it does not set theme as the site default. I've been through, I think, every option I can see in the ACP and I can't see one for changing the global default theme setting. So how do I change the default global theme?

Trying to do a fresh install of IPB 4.0 on a test site and am running into an issue on the install. The install page doesn't load and digging into the php error logs, I find this every time I attempt to load the page: PHP Fatal error: Invalid opcode 153/1/8. in /srv/joinsg/test/htdocs/system/Http/Url.php on line 1108Checking the 4.0 requirements script, it looks like everything checks out: (Currently running centos) http://i.imgur.com/0jfWMnn.png It seems to be a caching issue, but I'm not sure where to begin. I'm having problems converting my forum, as the background process keeps stopping or don't start at all. There is no error logs, so I assume the task never starts. I don't have access to cron on my host (), but that dosen't really matter if I can't complete it even when I'm running them manually. When i try to run it manyally, the circle never stops. Is there a way to run the conversion process first? Or anyone have any suggestions to fix this? I'm asking here before I send a support ticket, and in which case, do I need some debugging info from somwhere?

I have almost everything ready in my test forum to prepare the upgrade from ips3 to ips4 in my live site. But today when I include the language files "spanish" I see all my forums title and description have disapeared. Now in the index of the forum appear all my subforums like this: I know now ips has the possibility to give a different title and description in spanish, another in english... etc But I was expecting to see when you upload a new language pack the system will keep the same title and description as default and then if you want you can change it. Good Morning! Currently, my URL bar looks like this. I would like to change it from showing the Ip to showing the domain that I purchased. Where and how should I go about doing this? I am very new to running websites and have virtually no experience with the techy side of it. If someone can give me a step by step guide (a link if one exists, I'm sure this question has been asked before but I didn't find it when I browsed the forums) that would be great. Hi, I've converted a joomla 3 website to ip.content (3.4.8) using the latest conversion tool, but images were not converted, articles images point to the joomla relative path (/images/xxx). I would like to know where ip.content (or 3.4.8 pages) stores the images so I can move them to the proper location and have them shown on the articles. Any tip is appreciated! Best Regards!

I was working on a custom 4.0.6 theme and the block manager stopped working. I set the page I was working on back to the default theme and that no longer works. Is there a way to reset the default theme/bits? I can't figure out what happened as I was not working on the default theme. The only thing I can think of is a sync from hard disk may have corrupted something. If it can't be reset via the forums, where can I download the default theme? Thanks

Hey all, just hoping I might be able to find some ideas here. I started the update process to 4.0.6 on my hosted IPS install. I have access to my FTP server and uploaded the changed files that way. In my stupid haste, I accidentally deleted the entire /upgrade/ folder inside of admin. I figured I could fix this simply by reuploading the upgrade folder in the correct place, until I realize I don't have all of the files that I just deleted, only the updated files for the upgrade. To my surprise, there's nowhere for me to download the IPS files to fix this. I guess as a hosted client, I don't have that access, which is a bit crazy to me. All of my data was still test dat…

I have upgraded from 3.4.8 to 4.0.6.1 and only have under 200 posts (new forum) but because I archived posts in my forsale forum and deleted (once about 30 days old) then I have a -122 post count showing, but total post still include these deleted -122 posts Recount and rebuild seems to be removed in this 'improved' ipb4 lol recount members posts corrects members post numbers but the overall posts and negative posts counts still show incorrectly as minus once deleted and zero even when posts are present, this probably would go unnoticed on large forums with 1000's of posts.

I used the gateway (index.php in root, and forums in sub folder "forums"). I'm using FURL's. All links work. What I want to do is remove the ".html" at the end of the pages. So the pages appear as if they are in their own directories like below.. mysite.com/articles.html to mysite.com/articles mysite.com/reviews.html to mysite.com/reviews While editing each page, I omitted the ".html" in the Page Filename like below. Links work without the ".html" extension. Is that a correct way of doing it? Just did a fresh local install of IPB 4.0.6.1, and I'm trying to install free plugins I got from the Marketplace. My problem is that I can't find an option to install plugins in the AdminCP. I have enabled developer mode, btw. Here is a screenshot of the plugins section in the AdminCP. I expected to see an 'Install new' button, like in previous versions. Here is a screenshot of the same Section in an old IPB 4rc4 with the expected install button: Why is this happening?

The number of files in the uploads directory seems to have doubled after upgrade to 4.0.6.1. They were about 40.000 before the upgrade to IPS4 but are now about 78.000. Old ipb 3.4 uploads subdirectories and files got copied over to the new subdirectories, like attachments and profile_photos, and the original ones left in it's place. I checked this right after the upgrade and this hasn't changed.

I know this will be an embarrassing question but I cannot find where in the AdminCP where I can check the current version of the IP Board I am running (e.g. 4.0.6.1, etc.) as well as where it shows how much disk space I have used up (since I am using IPS for hosting and they limit each price tier by disk space usage).
