Hello, I had IPB 3.4 and I had developed a custom login. After upgrading to IPS 4 plugin no longer worked, at the time we had followed this guide, someone knows how to do the same on 4 IPS? Thanks

Hi I have a problem with the custom profile fields in user profiles. I created a new field profile with the select box. However, when a user selects the field and saves it, the choice is saved wrong. For example, I created a profile field with these three select box: Field 1 Field 2 Field 3 A user selects his field but in his profile I see another value that does not correspond to his choice, for example, instead of field 3 I see field 1. There are other users with this type of problem? Thanks Bye

Looking into a way for having one of our other forum users to login to our current IPB forum, the other forum uses Xenforo. So far I'm not seeing a way to do so.

Ever since upgrading to 4, many of my users have been experiencing issues with being able to stay logged in. I cannot seem to narrow this down to OS and/or browser. It has happened to me a couple of times, but it does not seem to happen as often to me as it seems to be happening to others. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Some time ago I modified the css so when I used the enter key when writing content, it would just do a line jump without spacing. If I wanted to have an actual space in between 2 lines, people would hit enter 2 times. Now I'm reverting that to the default and... of course... Could you help me with a query to get rid of all the <p> </p> in the posts table?

In IPB 3 series, there was a database of error codes I could look up if something didn't go right and I had to look up what the error mean. Now that IPB 4 series is out and I don't see the updated error codes. Will they push out to us (customers) so we can look up things for reference? Sometimes looking up the code makes it a simple fix vs it sometimes not. We have to open a ticket and wait for a reply from support which takes time yes, but looking up the code may be quicker and address the matter.

So for some reason I can't seem to change the color of my footer links, right now they are black and I need them to be white to stand out against the black background. Anyone know how to fix this? Any font color I change within the Admin doesn't affect the footer link color? I would also like to add links/pages to the footer such as an affiliate link that goes to a page with other companies I'll be working with and show their logo. How do I add a page link to the footer?

I set it up using localhost:11211 like my host said to do. I then upload the new constants.php and then continue. When I do this, I get this error: Sorry, there is a problem Something went wrong. Please try again. Error code: EX2 Does anyone know how to fix this? Verified with my host that memcached is enabled. Also enabled in my PHP settings in the cPanel.

How will the converter handle custom vBulletin 3.8 bbcode if IPS uses the same code, but in vB it is custom not stock? For example, I have custom spoiler and media tags, and they work exactly as they do in 3.4. So will the 4.1 converter (when ready) process them? Or is there some option in the converter? I can't afford to have the converter simply ignore them, it's a very old forum and these are crucial. I have these custom codes that work just like they do in IPS. Hey Guys, One of the extra fields you can add in Downloads is an extra editor and that's awesome, it performs exactly as it should EXCEPT and editor allows user to enter a lot more text, but the field displays in the sidebar instead of under the details pane? Can someone tell me how to get this extra field to display below the details pane in Downloads? Please and thanks!

Ok - in the ACP Permissions there is an option to allow 'can manage see settings' and by enabling this the admin can then indeed manage those options but when they click on the 'Launch Live Meta Tag Editor' they receive a permissions denied message. Which ACP permission grants action to this function please?

Is it possible to set language in the URL ? i want to setup up the same page On 3 different domain names, and let the domain name entered set the language like if you type website.com you get the english language version, and if you type website.de you get german language selected or Can this be done otherwise?

i have 4.0.13.1 installed, no posts or content except for a downloads file.. I named, tagged and added to the description the word 'dragon' then approved it.. However, searching for this word gets zero results.. I then rebuilt the search index in the acp and ran it manually, still nothing.. Changing the word to anything has the same issue. Is there anything i should look for in php.ini or other server settings, my.cnf maybe, that could be preventing searches of Dowloads files?

I purchased vectron previously gamer ESC, I thought this was 4.0 compatitable as in the change log it said "use 1.0.1 for 4.0" so naturally I assumed I could download that file. After purchasing there is only a 4.1 file aand the developer has yet to respond via pm.

Hi, the area for widgets on the right side has moved to the bottom of the page-- like it has become a footer, rather than a sidebar. From the Block Manager on the left side of the page, there is no way for me to place widgets on the right side of the home page. I don't know what caused the problem. So, now I have only one column for the whole front end of the site, and it looks terrible, with the formerly right-hand widgets in a long column below the original main column of the site. I removed the applications I don't want to use, but I want to add a few tabs that redirect to different links. For example, I want my nav bar to be "Forums" "Chat" "Members" "Rules" and if you click on "Members" it takes you to http://www.leagueforums.org/search/?type=core_members and if you click no "Rules" it takes you to the thread i put my rules on nav bar being this:

A few of my members are saying that since the upgrade they cant post in a certain forum. I have looked at the permissions and everything seems fine. Also, the reply box at the bottom of the page doesnt always load - it just shows the 'drag files here to attach box'. Any suggestions anyone?

Is there still the possibility to define custom BBcode (like in the past) and to edit existing BBcode? Can the spoiler be edited to allow a title that comes from [ spoiler=title here ] content [ /spoiler ]? In the past there was the possibility to toggle code/preview view in the editor. In code you would see all the BBcode and in the preview you would see how the BBcode looks, is this feature still available?
