Hey guys. I am trying to set up my gaming forum, while trying to tweak a theme I encountered the follow issues with my forum board. I've not yet uplifted to 4.1.6, but ref 'Introduces support for PayPal Billing Agreement' are we going to get any information from IPS as to how we set these up, or are we going to get no help with configuring such an important and much requested feature? A mini FAQ or tutorial is needed! IMHO of course! @Lindy any comment back at all?

I want to create a page where I want to show a map based on latitude ot longitude to show current location which may change more frequently... As we have map facility in community can eb seen even in calendar... Can we create our own map. please advise I want my members to open that map on mobile and then can use for directions... hi! i've articles in pages, and i use "copy in forum". but, atm, copy in forum cannot auto-close this copied topic and this new topic contain whole article (a good way can be: Just link and auto close)... so, what is the best setup? use forum for comments and maintain entire article also in forum (like a duplicate content)? use page for comments and close manually copied topic (and edit with just a link)? maintain as default with duplicate content (article in pages and copied article in topic) and separated comment (some in pages and some in forum)? ... what is your setup?

Lol! I've never had 1 time that I remember that I could update/upgrade the forum without any issue... LOL who is doing the QA over there?? I am getting: Fatal error: Undefined constant 'IPS\TEST_DELTA_ZIP' in /home/public_html/forum/applications/core/modules/admin/system/upgrade.php on line 99 someone have any idea?

I've included a screenshot. The funny thing is, I came here last night to report this and the same thing happened to me in both Chrome v48 and Edge (Windows 10) and for no reason at all.. it is fine now. I am not ad blocking, don't have any weird extensions blocking stuff here, and Edge doesn't even have extensions anyway. I hope someone else has been able to debug it so I can help our members

I can't seem to find how to add content to a sidebar, or to add the who's online to the bottom of the main forum page. Has this feature been removed in 4.x and do you now require IP.Content in order to be able to do this?

Hello @Charles, I was hoping I could discuss the Embedded YouTube issue in a little more detail, to see if there was any updates on the topic; the majority of the topics here in the forums are scattered at best; and there seems to derive a rather distinct issue with this embedding problem, even on our beloved site. Lately I'm getting a mix of registration notification emails that sometimes include the display name and sometimes do not. If I go to "Guest's profile" I do in fact see a proper display name. Sometimes the notifications include the chosen display name as it always had in the past. I'm puzzled by these new "Guest" registrations. Why are they not picking up the display name?

Is this something I should be concerned about? I hate errors especially in the database. It has always been error free. I upgraded/converted this table from 3.4.8 to 4.1.5.2 and a member was having problems. During the troubleshooting I thought I would do a repair on the database using phpmyadmin. I selected all tables as always, and ran the repair option. It completed fine it says, but listed in nearly 1/3-1/2 of the tables is this truncated note Storage engine for the table doesn't support r... Is there something that needs to be done by me to clear this up and will it cause problems (or is it causing some problems). Thanks,

Hello, Just purchased a new license for the 4.x suite, forum and gallery to upgrade our IPS 314 forum and gallery to 4.x. The problem is that that the web master that setup the forum in the past is not available any more. There is also no documentation of the setup. I have access to the CPanel, server etc. and have run the requirements checker, everything is green. Read the upgrade instruction well but have two questions: 1. Blog URL changes (3.4.8 to 4.1) I see URL structure change on my 4.1 blog Old URL (3.4.8) http://www.mysite.com/forum/blog/1121/entry-7317-trouble-mind/ New URL (4.1) http://www.mysite.com/test/blog/entry/7317-trouble-mind/ As you see new URL does not have blog ID only have topic ID Entry word used to be part of topic ID, right now it is stand alone... My question: If I do not TOUCH new URL (accept and go for it) if someone follows OLD URLs from Google would get 404 or system detect those link and redirect to new URL???? Thanks

Hi, I've been searchign for this for ages with no luck. When creating a block for a list of articles, I want to display the category the article is in, but I am not sure what to use to pull this data into the block. I have a member helping me test 4.x on my test site. He is having trouble seeing options under his name for settings, profile etc from the pull down menu at the top right next to your name on the index page. I'm thinking it is a cookie issue maybe. On 3.x we have the setting to set the cookies for the cookie domain and the prefix -.test- for a test site, but I can find no way to set it to make sure the cookies he's using for the test site are separate from my main live 3.x site. Am I overlooking a section in the ACP? Thanks,

I cant store my php array in javascript. Been trying to fix the problem for a few days, but It keeps saying that my json_encode is undefined. I hope someone can help me with this.
