We have quite a lot of Chinese content, and for searching this we tend to rely on Google. It's not ideal - some parts of our site are private, indexing might be slow. I was reading yesterday about this - looks like MySQL 5.7.6 onwards can do a fulltext Chinese index for x-character ngrams Is anyone doing this? Does it work? How feasible is it to set it up?

Thinking of enabling referrals. Where does the money earned come from? I've now got my website running on my dedi so i downloaded everything from my old host and yes i took a dump of the DB and thats all running fine. Ive uploaded everything and it was going fine until i decided i wanted to put my forum in a subdirectory called /forum, 90% of the stuff works just some places where i need to update images called through CSS BUT ive found a MAJOR buggg and have no idea how to fix it. I'm trying to setup a page or block which would show Pages articles with a certain tag. The catch is the tag is a variable. I would get to the that page by clicking a tag in one of the articles. So I guess the tag would have to be in the URL. I'd like to achieve the same look as articles category listing but for tags. Any ideas?

I recently upgraded to IPB4 and added blogs as part of the update, everything worked fine on my test sites but I'm having some problems with it now. Every time anyone creates a new blog (blog, not entry), they get a 504 gateway timeout error. The blog does get created but without the name or description set by the member, and the only way to edit the blog settings is to post an entry, after which everything seems to work ok. It's not a huge issue because you can still make blogs if you know this workaround, but most people don't and so end up creating several blank blogs because they just go back from the 504 page and try again. Anyone know a solution to this?

Quite a few of my members bookmarked specific pages of my forums, and the URL is now different. I want to share with you a simple instruction how you can easily add moderator tags to your IPS forum without any 3rd party plugins or styles. First open your ACP and go to Customization -> Editor -> Toolbars and click Add button. Then choose Custom tab. Specify your button options. For example: Button Title: Warning Icon: choose any icon. Is there any way to remove multiple member attachments/photo uploads at the same time. If you go to System>files in AdminCP you can delete uploaded attachments one at a time, but there isn't any way to choose more than one to delete. This is very tedious if you wish to do a bulk delete.

So, it seems that flagging a member as a spammer hides all their posts from public view and unflagging them doesn't unhide them. One of my admins flagged an active member as a spammer because of a misunderstanding and now this member's 1000+ posts are hidden. I have to manually unhide all of them. How do I mass unhide them?

Hello, I was running v2.2.2 and Google Webmaster tools kept moaning about mobile compatibility since last year. I took the plunge towards the end of Feb and updated to v4.1 - and now my traffic has gone through the floor Clicky Pic Any idea why? This is raw clicks, so shouldn't be anything to do with users not enjoying the 4 feel and presumably everything to do with the way the v4 board indexes and shows in results?
