In the Downloads app someone posted a file which auto posts to one forum. I decided to have this category post to different forum. Two posts made it to the first forum and one to the other forum. I cannot move the first two auto generated posts to the new location. The forum is greyed out when I try to move them.

Hey all! I'm looking to create a custom php block that pulls data from an internal database and outputs it in a table format. I've read the guide here, and with some adjustments have managed to get it to pull data from the correct database, and to select the columns that I want. What I can't figure out is how get it to output a table of three columns or more. Is there a code snippet I can look at that does this? Much love if you can guide me through how to include/exclude columns. Bonus question: If I were to select a column that contained only number fields, is there a way to get it to sum those fields into a single value and output the result?

Hi all My MySQl drive died yesterday - quickly replaced and the backup restored. However - I am now getting an error every minute from /public_html/interface/task.php all c7ad8f0793eecb3470b it is a plain text email, saying connection to the database has failed. But that could be a red herring as the site appears to be running. Essentially it looked like the task.php file is not running correctly. I've turned off cron for now, but if anyone has any thoughts that would be appreciated. I appreciate that this site is still on the old software and that is no longer supported by IPS.

Are there any ways to customize how imported RSS feeds look and what content is included? I thought I recall a few years back being able to customize more than just putting in the URL and choosing where to import it. Any marketplace items out there to make this a bit more appealing?

I seem to be having trouble with 'Members Signatures', regardless of whether I have turned them off for certain groups, they still show in the forum posts. I have disabled 'Signatures' in 'Group Settings' via the ACP and I have cleared cache, but to no avail. Is there any other reason why members Signatures would still display in the forum?

Hi, I'm looking to put an emphasis on user uploaded photos - To create a mini instagram using the theme of my site. Instagram and also fb are so simple in that regard - You simply hit the upload button, select the photo, and boom its posted. But the steps required and interface to upload photos are nowhere near simple. You have all these menus and fields about descriptions, file details, captions, etc etc. A HUGE barrier for getting lots of photos. Anyone else see this challenge? And is there any way to make it more simple with the latest 4.2.7 version? Thanks!

Topic views number decreased a lot after upgrade to IPS 4 because of ajax-pagination. In IPS 4 when you move through the pages of one topic, its views counter doesn't increase. Yes, there is some logic in such behavior, but in IPS 3, IPS 4 with disabled AJAX pagination and all other forum engines this counter works in the different way. It counts every page view. Some of my users post advertising topics and they really care about the number of topic views. Now they complain that it's "about zero" and it harms their business. But I don't want to switch off AJAX pagination, because it's really useful. I think, topic views counter should not depend on the AJAX pagi…

I am moving my IPS 4.7.2 to another server. This error is displayed Forbidden You don't have permission to access /foro/index.php on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Backup the database Copy the files /forum to a new server I restored the database Modified conf_global.php file with new BD values Any help or idea .. ?? Thank you very much..

I'm importing an RSS-feed to the blog section on my site. When doing so there's a textline attached to it: The post xxx appeared first on yyy. Hey, guys I been having some issues with the install. I placed the files in my folder and then I went to install Invision Community forums. The installer had said I had an outdated PHP version. So I updated PHP version to 7, and I no longer can access the site. Here is what was in the apache logs bare with me I'm new. error_111log.txt

Hello all, I am looking for a way to remove all user "reactions" from the Activity Feed in user's profiles. Not only is it annoying to me seeing likes/favorites/whathaveyou of others reacting to my content (there's notifications for that, no?), it's annoying to see my own reactions to other's content there too. This is probably the #1 feature that users of my site complain about. Is there a way to disable reactions on the Activity feed on a user's profile, without removing Reactions entirely? Cheers!

What is going wrong when this template part in forumRow-template: {datetime="$lastPost['date']"} in forumRow-template Returns: <time datetime="2017-09-05T11:45:05Z" title="05-09-2017 13:45 " data-short="%d hours"> 5 hours ago </time> Instead of: <time datetime="2017-09-05T11:45:05Z" title="05-09-2017 13:45 " data-short="5 hours"> 5 hours ago </time> The forumrow-template seems to be correctly up to date with the one from the update. Also: \system\DateTime\DateTime.php is up-to-date. I cannot figure out where to look to fix it? I think the problem came after we updated to 4.2.3 yesterday.

I'm sorry if this is answered somewhere already, I'm sure it is, I just can't find it! What is the correct way to include a PHP file within a template file? I have tried this: {{include('../include/myfile.php');}} This includes the correct file but the rest of the page is not displayed, instead there are lots of funny characters (see screenshot). Is anyone able to offer any suggestions? Thanks a lot.
