Hello, I was able to upgrade IPB version Invision Community v4.5.4.2 to latest ( 4.6.8 ) in one of our staging site. After upgrade, I was able to access AdminCP and public / community end. However, when I install "Download" which we purchased, after installing and enabling, I got this error instead. I got this error in the frontend/community page The errors from AdminCP and community/forum public end, is after I install "Download" and enabling it. Please advice on what to do, I don't know where is that "Support tool" in the AdminCP. Thank you. - Allan of Nigel's Team

Hi, One of our moderators is complaining that his name doesn't show up in the online user list widget when he is online. I tried using the "Sign in as" option available in the ACP to pretend to be that moderator, and in fact, his name wouldn't show up in the list. However, I tried sign in as other moderators, and it worked fine: the username would show up in the list. Then I stumbled upon another moderator that, when trying to sign in as him, his name wouldn't show up in the online user list as well. I have no clue on what is going on or how to start debuggin this. I tried removing and adding the widget, and clearing the system caches, at not avail. Please …

Hi! Recently login and registration on the forum stopped working. Error EX0 appears. In the "Support" tab there is information that the server time is not exact and that it reports the time one hour back. The problem arose after changing the time from summer to winter (in Poland there is a tradition that the time is shifted forward by an hour for winter, and by an hour backward in spring). I have already written to hosting support and their server time is correct and up to date. So why is IPS getting the wrong timezone? The hosting actually has it correct, I checked with this page https://ipgeolocation.io/timezone-api.html

Hello guys, I recently upgraded from 4.6.7 to 4.6.8. I was very excited because of this article: SEO: Improving crawling efficiency I was hoping and expecting that I will have more visits after the upgrade. Actually quite the opposite happened. Approximately 3-4 days after the upgrade, the community visits (pageviews per day in Google Analytics) dropped more than 2 times and they remain like this todate. Hi Guys Is it possible to subscribe a particular group to notifications of a page or forum? We run subscriptions and we add benefits such as discounts for our subscribers, but would like to automatically ssend a notification of when a new post has been added. Is this possible to mass subscribe to a page or forum section? Update: i mean "follow this forum" feature

I bought Ipboard Blog thinking it was the system you were using for IPBoard, finding it very simple and fluid, but I realized after a search on the forum that you are actually using page... Hi everybody, I have changed prices in my subscriptions on my board. Since I already have quite a lot customers I have decided to leave the one with a running subscription on the old price and new subscribers have to pay the new price. All seemed to work fine so far. But now a problem showed up. A member which had a subscription with the old but which was expired could not sign up for a new subscrition. I was able to solve the problem manualy by removing the expired mark. And since I have like 300 members with an expired subscription I ask myself if the other members with the expired subscriptions have the same problem. And if yes - how can I solve it ? Tha…

I just upgraded to the latest from 3.x, and I cannot find the information about the index.php file necessary to run Pages content from the root folder when the forum isn't the root folder. The 3.x version doesn't work ( I tried on a hail mary after failing to find updated information ) I'm attempting to get the bare bones of my website back up while I rework all my content to be compatible with the new version of Invision, and this is the final stumbling block to that endeavor.

Hi, according to GDPR law a user can request all their data, including content posted, in an format that can easily be transferred to another host. In other words, we need to be able to provide any user with their content, e.g. an export in PDF format or anything like this. As of today - how can we achieve that? The Button "Download personal information" in AdminCP only exports IP addresses, browser infos and other meta data, but not the posts of the user. Thanks!

Hi, I'm trying to copy my live/production site into different URL as staging/test site, and part of test license. Copy all files and database. I was able to make the admin CP work, but when I go to the frontend/public it redirects me to the live/production site. I change the config_global.php settings to correct variables/settings. @Matt Following up our conversation about the excelente upcoming Robots.txt feature, the new, updated tutorial on Robots.txt is excelent, as it has several lines that we didn't have in our robots.txt. Before opening a ticket on this, I wanted to make sure this isn't just something obvious that I did wrong. Our forum has added a Profile Completion Step in the last month. Over the past couple of weeks, a number of members are having trouble with this -- they are on desktops and laptops, not mobile. When they have to log-in, the required fields come up. They fill them out and hit the "Submit" button. The waiting wheel spins . . . and spins . . . and spins. Several members waited a full five minutes before closing out the screen and contacting the forum staff. On those member accounts, an Admin is having to fill in the fields through AdminCP, then the member can edit them.…
