I am thinking of using cloudflare but I have one question When I used to use it on my phpBB forum the IP address of all users was the same and I had to install a modification which showed the origin IP address Does IPS show the origin IP of users or will it be the cloudflare one thats proxied?

Hi I wanted to update to 4.6.10. It went to step 4 and I saw ERROR 500 on the screen 😕 I updated twice and the update resulted in the same error twice. Any idea?

I had an issue logging in and registering on my new forum. The problem was that my domain was not a secure connection. When I setup my package on my vps it was setup without an SSL certificate which usually gets installed on its own. First time I had that issue. Anyways I didn’t think that was the issue but after installing an SSL certificate the problem was solved.

Hello, Google Search console notified my of a bunch of non-descript Commerce 500 Error URL's, presumably product page URLs, that had failed validation and I noticed that the CSRF keys are logged. They don't seem very SEO friendly and I wondered if they should be part of the recent SEO review. Secondly, I was wondering what your (IPS) take is on making these CSRF keys available in URLs? Presumably they are time limited so a bad actor obtaining them wouldn't be able to make use of them but wouldn't POST be a more secure method of passing and receiving security related values? Hi, I'm working on a forum that is setup for married couples. Basically the idea is to have a individual subscribe at a certain level and then create another user for the spouse under the same subscription. Right now the spouse's account and subscription is being manually created and entered, but when manually adding the subscription there is no way (that I see) to add a expiration date that matches the original subscription expiration. Is there a plugin that could accomplish this or a better way of handling subscriptions within IPS?

I have just updated to the latest release. Everything went successful according to the upgrade, and all of my content in the forums does still appear fine. Hi all, Late last week we started getting the warning banners in our ACP that our Support payment was due, which was followed up by an email order No. offering renewal for the usual price, but with the bracketed date as follows: (Expires: 02/06/2022) Eh? Are you collecting renewals 5 months early, or is there an error in our entry? I don't know which is right, as I have the world's worst memory, so I'm looking for some guidance. Hi! Back in the day I remember the Invision boards used to have a set function where you can see which members had been online in the last few minutes or so. This function seems to be gone now in later versions. Why is that, and is there any way of turning it on again?

Hi guys, Had a few members report that they are not receiving badges. Have just tried on a dummy account and seems that some of our automated badge rules aren't working. Is there a way to show the latest/new forum posts? Something that can configure the number of topics to list at the very least. I would love a block that ban be placed at the top of my forums or in a new page dedicated to new topics. None of the blocks I have will allow me to do this.

Hello, I just tried upgrading my test site to IPB 4.6.10 (twice) and both times I've received the same result: after downloading and extracting the upgrade file(s), my site throws an HTTP Error 500 and is completely unusable. My only alternative at this point is to restore a backup. I've read recent posts by people with similar issues involving mismatched apps, but I don't think this is the case for me as I don't even get to the point where it starts updating anything - it's the file extraction process which craps things out. Anyone else had this (or something like this) happen?

Is there a way to customize the size of our picks block? It takes most of the above the fold, is it possible to make them shorter? Also, is it posible to change the name from "Our picks" to "Top Stories" for example? Help appreciated.
