IPS makes it essentially impossible to get decent product support. I just clicked "Get Support". The only option to proceed was to disable all customizations, which I did, but it would not allow me to disable the custom theme. Then, I when I clicked "Reenable all customizations", all but one were not reenabled, causing our site to go belly-up. I had to call my Developer and have her re-enable everything, which costs me cash. Why does Invision SUCK so incredibly hard at providing reasonable support? We have upgraded 2 days ago to 4.6.8 and since then we've noticed that some users are unable to upload images like they were used to. I've had a look at our image settings and they are what they've always been and if I try to upload a JPEG of 5000x3335, it resizes it just fine to the maximum (ratio) size and shows the preview If I try a PNG of similar (4816 × 4784) size, it fails I then tries resizing the PNG to smaller size and it fails at 3000x2000, but at 1500x1000 it works?!? I can't seem to find what's going on here that causes those larger (dimensions, not filesize) PNG files to fail. Anyone able to help?

So I just installed the gallery app and when I went to group settings and click save in the gallery permissions I get EX1054 error.. I reuploaded all the files once again but still getting that issue. It happens for all user groups. Any idea? SInce I installed the most recent update, permissions for my groups access to apps and plugins seems to be going haywire. I keep getting reports of members now not being able to access certain features, and then when I check the permissions they are turned off (they were on before) for all groups. I turn them on and save them, and sometimes it sticks, other times it doesn't. There's some weird things going on. Anyone else having any issues with anything like this?

If I sell one item, the cost of shipping in Canada could range from $8.60 to $30 for same item based on location. For this EasyPost is fantastic and works great. But if they buy 3 of those items say, that $8.60 is suddenly $22 in real world shipping costs. So I would lose $13.40 on that transaction because the shipping stays at $8.60 I could do a manual pricing in the system, then apply EasyPost manually, but the difference in shipping costs the 8 to 30 kills that right off the bat. The dynamic pricing on the shipping is amazing, it works great. But is there any way to adjust it so it reflects the cart?

Just thought you guys should know that there are instances where the cron job can go crazy and apparently get into an infinite loop. Hi, I followed this guide but despite following the steps and doing them over 3 times, I am getting this error: There appears to be a problem with your Amazon (dkrbucket3) file storage settings which can cause problems with uploads. After attempting to upload a file to the directory, the URL to the file is returning a HTTP 400 error. Update your settings and then check and see if the problem has been resolved Anyone have any ideas?

Hello, I've created a page app with a database, with categories and sub-categories. I am trying to change the permissions for the main categories I've created, but it just doesn't show that option 😞 I can only change the permissions to the sub-categories? Why is that? Is that a documented bug? See the screenshot. There is no option to change the permissions for the category 😞 In the same page that I've created, I have a category with sub-categories. If there is a sub-category added, THEN and ONLY THEN we can change the permissions of the main category. That doesn't make much sense to me, unless there is a bug.

Hello, A few of my clients have already sent me a few emails reporting something that I thought it should be there. They go to the "manage the purchase" page. They see the product, they click on manage, but they do NOT see the next renewal date. The next date when they will be charged 😞 It's not only one of the members that asked me, there were quite a few. Two of the clients actually asked me "Why does my purchase show that my renewal expires next ...?" YouTube, Vimeo, and other content is embedded automatically into posts and the embedded content can be viewed directly inside the posts. I noticed that inside the Amin CP under System > Settings > Posting there is an option for "Automatically embed links?" Within that option is says that Google Maps can be automatically embedded into posts. However, Google Maps don't seem to be working. When I post a link to a Google map or a custom mymaps.google.com only the link/url is posted and not an embed of the actual map. How do you get an embed of the actual map inside a post? Am I doing something wrong?

I thought it would be an IP (banned) issue or so but if I try to signup with his emailadress (here on my computer/internet connection) then i also get" Oops You are not permitted to register a user account with this site. I am using the Site online/offline toggle. With the "offline message" set as "Open today Feb 4th, 2022 at 5PM" and am trying to update it over time as the day progressing to build hype. For instance adding at youtube video link pics etc as the day progresses. Well I tried to embed some code to the offline site message (from youtube) and after doing so I can not update/change the message. it is stuck on the last update w/embedded code. Hello, Is there a way to extend the time it takes for someone to get logged out of a proxy session? i.e. I sign in as [Another user] and rather than get signed out after 5 minutes (back to my user) I can stay logged in as theirs? Thanks, Nigel

Hi. I've just discovered a spam member who has never posted anything, but I've received reports from 2 members who - "reported a message in a personal conversation". They both reported the member was, "soliciting"! I'm quite shocked because this member (from Russia) has achieved Grand Master status with 47990 points without posting a single thing. I also have messenger disabled on my forums? Any thoughts? Obviously they also evade Invision's spam defences.
