Hello. I have a malware program on my server that is saying that one of the PHP files in the cache folder is infected. The file is a bunch of random letters and numbers. If I delete the PHP file from the cache folder, will it cause any problems with my forums or will the forums automatically recreate the file once it has been deleted (if it is still needed for caching purposes). Please advise.

Bit disappointed I have to share this info publicly so I'll keep it brief. Using inspect element you can modify text beyond what is allowed through the editor. This shouldn't happen imo and can be easily used to deface websites if used maliciously. Here's some of the "best" case scenarios this is used for. The worst case should be pretty obvious by now. Here is an example, using background color despite the editor not having the option. Even worse, I can set font size to a ridiculous size, thousands of times higher than what the editor even allows.

I can't get the Reputation and Reactions to work properly, maybe i missed a setting? https://www.getekendereep.com/ They only work with me and one moderator, the rest can see the badges given but can't give them. Maybe it's a group setting but i can't find any setting to that effect. Maybe a bug or settings, any tips?

I just learned that my forum test instance, which is a copy of the production forum taken a few months ago, is sending out renewal invoices to subscribers whose subscriptions are about to end. This is confusing for my users since most of these people received an initial invoice from the production site and have already paid. Is there a way to turn off the invoice renewal feature on my test instance or do I need to remove the subscription plan from that instance? Thanks, John

When I start a hidden article, every page view of myself is counted, but once I publish the article $record->record_views doesn’t change anymore. Is this intentional? Is it updated later? I deliberately don’t have any caching activated for this.

Hi guys, My email is ******************** and I'm running your software. Recently we had a company remove some Malware that *I think* may have impacted the SSO because when I click on forums it now takes you to a login page. Hi Everyone - One of my forums is intended for me to just provide announcements and is not intended for user to post in that specific forum. Was wondering if there was a way to disable the post and view count for posts associated with that specific forum? Thanks in advance for your help. Brian

Hi - One of my forums is just to share news announcements published by organizations on hirings of executive leaders within their firms. If I want to add old announcements to the archives, but not have them show as the new date of when I make the post, am I able to make the post announcement and change the date of the post? For example, if today I made a post hat reflects an archive announcements from 6 months ago, I would want the post date to reflect 6 months ago versus today--this way it doesnt show up in the post feed as a new announcement. Hope that makes sense. Thanks!

I have pages configured as default app to serve our landing page by default under main domain. Forums (community) went under domain.com/forums then. The issue is e.g. after payment there is return to community link. When clicking it returns user not to place he went from, not to the actual app he came from (forums) but to default app - pages. Additionally, after login in forums, it redirects to default app, pages. This is pretty much unexpected and unwanted behavior. I would like to redirect to place user came from OR to actual app instead default. Where to modify that?

I am having API issues. When I access from PostMan (API testing software) it works fine however when making a request from the server we're using I get a 403 error from Cloudfront. Is there a setting in my AdminCP that can unblock certain IP's or domains? Any insight is appreciated. Best regards,

If I change the email settings in the ACP and hit save, everything looks good. If I then browse elsewhere and come back, the setting revert to what they were before. The system logs have the following error: Could not write to Store-FileSystem (acpNotificationIds) File permissions for datastore and uploads folders/files are 777. Everything else is 775. Please help.

Hi, In IPS 3 there was an option to remove index.html from the end of URL. I can't see that option in IPS 4 anymore. Is it still possible, e.g. using htaceess? Now index page of Pages displays as follows: http://domain.com/index/

We need some urgent support. I've been onto the Invision site and it says that our email support has expired. I didn't know this and I'm not sure what to do about it. Our problem is that our private message system has stopped working. I have cleared the cache , disabled the applications and disabled the plug-ins et cetera. When I have disabled those it starts working. I then re-enable the theme, the applications and simply leave the plug-ins disabled. The private message system starts working. Hello, I was wondering if there was a new membership referral system built into the existing board software. I'm looking for a feature that will allow new registrations that need to be validated by an old account that's already registered with the system. My objective is to restrict registration outside of the existing membership circle of friends. I also want to trace who referred who. Can you suggest ideas? Thank you.
