Hi, it's been a while since I setup an invision community suite and I recently uploaded and unzipped the invision community suite to my public_html directory on cpanel. I have a feeling it's clearly related to my old website. I was previously using wordpress and I deleted the wordpress installation and wiped the old database for it, then created a new one and extracted the website to the public html directory, including moving core files that I am supposed to, to that directory. Now I'm getting internal server error. - I have renamed old htaccess files including the other htaccess.phpupgraded.intial files - I have created a new database for the board …

Hello, I've recently updated Invision + theme (not the child theme). Today I have this error when tying to connect to Admin CP : [[Template core/admin/global/globalTemplate is throwing an error. Hello, I am attempting to upload an Application Icon and I keep getting the following error message; A look at the logs: Any ideas as to what's causing this? I am simply trying to change what people see when we send a link. 😆 NOTE: I am using the correct size and file type. I made sure of that before posting here. Hello, I am on the latest stable update available of IPS. The problem I'm facing is that the group colors of members are applied only when you are viewing the forum from mobile. If you are viewing the forum from desktop, all names are white without specific colors based on group (like on mobile). Before update the colors were showing normally everywhere. Is there a way to fix it so that it does show the group colors on desktop as well? Thanks!

Evening all, Wondered if I can get some assistance on this - been having issues installing invision community on a windows machine and had to migrate to a debian installation instead. Due to this, while testing the installation, the license key registered the URL under "localhost" rather than the intended domain. While trying to perform a URL reset, it's now asking me to pay $15 for this. Can any of the support team perform a reset due to the URL being localhost? Thanks, Jack.

Hi, I have a paid membership and do not want Google or any other search index to index any content of my forum. I thought I had done so but members now show me screenshots of Google results they found when searching for their names. This is not wanted by them nor me either. I have copy pasted the robots.txt file from this page to the System -> Site Promotion -> Search Engine Optimization -> Crawl Management section I am unsure whether I have to edit this file somehow and whether I will also have to upload it via ftp to my server since my forum resides in a directory. Hello, The title field is not focused when a new topic is started, we have to click on the title before starting to write 😞 I am composing a lot of new topics and it's uncomfortable. This title field should be focused by default, it shouldn't be a big thing to change. I didn't post this as a feature, because it's not a new feature, it's something that is on by default on most forms and it's not here.

I noticed that I can no longer properly link a Pages category page on Facebook. The header contains an “og:url” linking to the page, not the category that was actually used. Facebook seems to prefer that information over the correctly set canonical tag and pulls the wrong information from the page, ignoring the category entirely. I can replicate it with any Pages database with categories on any installation and with any template.

I have a single user on my site that when he attempts to upload images it shows up a pink/green vertical bars. - Any ideas what is causing this or how it can be resolved? We have a member who insists on uploading politically charged and provocative profile photos, and I'd love to be able to forbid only this member from uploading them, but there doesn't appear to be a way to do so. I realise that I can create a new group with that permission disabled, and place the member in that group, but that seems like overkill for such a small problem. I also realise I could simply ban the member for being uncooperative and breaching community guidelines, but I don't think that's warranted just yet. So, I'm just wanting to either confirm that it can't be done, or be shown how if it can. Kev

@Rikki or @Ehren I found a theme bug to the hidden status update. If you go to Moderator CP > Status Updates > Hidden Contents > Profiles >Status Update You will see the <i class="fa fa-user"></i> Displaying like this
