I suggest you to disable old plugins and retry.
As example in @Clubimport board the
    (NB40) Topic Description
generate the same issue wrongly assigned to this app.

His free plugins are supported by  : https://invisionify.com/files/file/17-post-number/
Then don't hope this will be updated by himself in the futur.

Here is a new solution IPS4.5. thanks again to @Gabriel Torres.

Over 50% of our offroad users are on IOS and they upload MOV file that doesn't play in browser.
Any clue/idea how to embed MOV files in IPB and play them without downloading them, just like MP4 video files.....?
@Clover13 @Joy Rex @AlexWebsites have you guys found some solution?
It's very disappointing and painful that we still cannot support IOS users.

this is surely difficult for many of us to understand what is blocking the implementation of an option that seems so minimal. without being a developer, it seems even surprising that it takes so long or that it could be a break in the functioning of the site if it is implemented in the near future. I read in the blog that we would no longer wait for major releases to add options. Isn't it better to take a break from your very long-term work, to focus on the small additions. it often happens to read "We've had this on our internal roadmap" but what is blocking it so that it lasts so long? I'm trying to tell myself that surely there must be major work in the codes of thousands of lines of files that we do not see, concerning the correction of bugs, improvement ... but here we are wondering whether it is about small additions or the progress of the mobil application. I'm sure if you hire a developer who is dedicated to adding all of these small changes, customers will get them done faster. or maybe you have to remove the coffee machine (joke)

    Some thoughts:
I've been watching the IPS forums for many, many years and I've seen an average of 2 year turntime from product suggestion to product implementation.  For most suggestions in the IPS forums, they ignore.   IPS gets feedback from many sources, including enterprise clients and managed clients -- you know, people who pay more money than you.   When you have zero expectations, you're always surprised!

This is something that always bothered me. There used to be a plugin that fixed this, created by Matt Mecham (MTM Post Counter a.k.a. MTM Ye Olde Post Count Of Yesteryear), that is no longer available. I edited it to work with 4.5. See below. After installing it, you must clear the cache using the support tool. It is working like a charm here.

No one said or tried to say it was a legal requirement (though it really is for Federal institutions, they cannot use software that does not follow certain ADA requirements by a Federally mandated law) that is not and was not the point. I have a handicapped adult child so I'm aware of how difficult many software applications are. Not trying to say the program needs massive changes to support ADA.
My point is/was that the ID tag number being shown @Mr 13 does in fact (in my opinion) provide the exact same purpose of a visual cue that post # have/had in the past. I've manually edited our forums to show it. All I'm providing is FEEDBACK which is the purpose of this forum. It would be very nice if allowing this to be shown by some setting within the ACP so that users did not need to manually edit their code.
As for the date in every post providing a permalink I'm sorry you just don't seem to understand what people are talking about. VISUAL cue just like I created all uppercase. You don't have to copy anything, you don't have to click a special button. You easily see there is something. Telling someone go find post where the date says Posted August 13 does nothing for anyone as there could be several posts made on that date. Why people are complaining it is a PITA to have to now copy and paste a special link to refer to.
    In my example here

I can tell the user to check out post ID 393 and most people can very easily find that number in the topic thread. I didn't have to copy, quote, or paste anything.
If you don't wish to add such a feature that is your choice but to tell people they don't need it is YOUR personal opinion which may or may not be shared by others.

You are absolutely right to recognise that there is a diversity of users. As a forum administrator I definitely don't want to impose a way of doing things on our users. As far as I'm concerned they are entitled to make their own choices that we need Invision support behind us to allow this to happen.

I don't know about people being "hung up" about them. It's simply that some people find them useful – and others don't but it's their choice
This certainly seems to offer one solution – and we will probably try it. However, for ordinary people who aren't necessarily particularly computer-confident, they may find it a bit geeky and a simple plug-in to produce the post numbers would be very handy.

There was a plug-in available for the previous version of Invision. I'm hoping that somebody will produce a new one

If the developer wants to changes pricing structure for the future – then that's fair enough and of course existing customers will have to make a choice.
However, if there is going to be a change which will affect existing customers then I think that they should be told about it and also given sufficient notice – for instance, at least six months – the period of a typical renewal.
Once again, it's all about information and transparency.

Until then, it seems to me rather unfair to effectively de-prioritise existing customers because there is a pricing decision made by the developer when he first came up with the idea of the third-party add-on and made his decisions about how he was going to price it.
Existing customers went along with the add-on and also with the pricing scheme in good faith and I think it requires a certain amount of reciprocal good faith from the developer.
So, for instance, the developer could upgrade to 4.5 and announce to existing customers that in six months time the app would not be supported any more and that the next upgrade would only be available to people who signed onto the new pricing structure – but as a gesture of loyalty to existing customers, they would not have to make the initial purchase, they would simply sign up for the renewal fees – which are generally speaking less than the initial payment.

That is something which I think is fair all round and takes into account changing circumstances for the developer, the customer, and market conditions generally.

I believe that most people do understand that you're not disagreeing with what the responses are to your situation, but you don't seem to appreciate that there is nothing you can do and there is nothing to be gained by continuing with this line of response.
There's nothing you can do, nothing Invision can do and nothing that anyone else can do. So rather than keep rehashing your disappointment and asking other developers what their stance is, just accept that the developer of this app has said it will be updated as and when time permits.
Just let it go and be patient or look elsewhere to fulfil your needs.

    Hi,

it would be great if in the next version of the software Paypal Smart Payment Buttons can be integrated instead of the old Paypal Checkout. Link https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/

The very big advantage of using, the now default, Paypal Smart Payment Buttons over the old Paypal Checkout is that with the buttons many local country payment options are integrated in the Paypal checkout.

In the old Paypal Checkout customers can only pay through either their Paypal account or a debit/credit card.
Credit card payments only take up about 20% of all European online payments, so not offering local payment option to European customers means missing out on a lot of revenue.

With the Paypal Buttons solution you automatically can accept payments for these local payment options:
Alternative payment method Buyer country Customer transaction limit Bancontact Belgium n/a eps Austria Minimum: 1.00 EUR giropay Germany Minimum: 1.00 EUR iDEAL The Netherlands n/a MyBank Italy n/a Przelewy24 (P24) Poland Minimum: 1 PLN
Maximum: 55,000 PLN Sofort Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain Minimum: 1.00 EUR
Therefore it would be great if this can be a standard payment integration in the next release of Invision Community software.

Thanks and I hope you will integrate it.
