Anyone that is interested in supporting btc/xmr etc for free without 3rd party getting any cut:
Both open source and totally free...

You are actually not. Create a new page template (Page Builder), e. g. with following code:
    <div> <div class='ipsGrid ipsGrid_collapsePhone'> <div class='ipsGrid_span3'> {template="widgetContainer" group="pages" app="cms" params="'col1', $widgets, 'vertical'"} </div> <div class='ipsGrid_span3'> {template="widgetContainer" group="pages" app="cms" params="'col2', $widgets, 'vertical'"} </div> <div class='ipsGrid_span3'> {template="widgetContainer" group="pages" app="cms" params="'col3', $widgets, 'vertical'"} </div> <div class='ipsGrid_span3'> {template="widgetContainer" group="pages" app="cms" params="'col4', $widgets, 'vertical'"} </div> </div> <div class='ipsGrid ipsGrid_collapsePhone'> <div class='ipsGrid_span6'> {template="widgetContainer" group="pages" app="cms" params="'col5', $widgets, 'vertical'"} </div> <div class='ipsGrid_span6'> {template="widgetContainer" group="pages" app="cms" params="'col6', $widgets, 'vertical'"} </div> </div> </div> This would give you four columns in the first line and two columns in the second line. Change ipsGrid_spanX to whatever you like, and you have a flexible layout. Or play with columns instead of grid.

Ok, let's get straight to the point.
Here I have widget for guests so for signed users is hidden.

    but not completely

I must add to my .css this

.ipsWidget.ipsHide { margin-bottom: 0 !important; display: none !important; } to be truly hidden

one of many little things that are still not fixed... and spoils the overall impression

Zdeněk Tůma reacted to Maxxius in Emoji sorting
hi, it would be nice to make it so that custom added emoticons show up after lets say animals and nature category instead of being at the very end?
what I'm trying to suggest is to let us order the emoji categories however we like. not only the newly created emoji categories but all of the  categories.

You don't show in the list of downloaders at all, and it's not flagged 4.5 compatible so it doesn't appear in the ACP MP.
@Daniel F am I missing something here? Weird MP quirk?

Zdeněk Tůma reacted to Charles Fischer in Augment the Moderation System to be More Refined?
I have created a WordPress blog that was in the Top 1% in the World last year, (for pages read) and we had a commenting system attached that was part of the Disqus network that offered much more than what I have with IPS.  I was able to have copies of posts listed compactly on a page (in the order written) in order to scan through them quickly for violations.
Disqus had a stat area where I could easily see how many posts were written each day and I could check quickly by week or month as well.  I was able to see how many posts were edited in a month, and how many were deleted.  I could also get a quick count of those few who were banned.
All of these are stats needed for comparison, planning and adjusting.
My moderation is much more rigid than most with rules that quickly enforce decorum, and the result is a pleasant community with less than a half of 1% of all comments deleted.  Now with my new IPS forum--I intend to ramp up (over 4,000 page views yesterday) but cannot with the current moderation system in place.  I need to be able to have my moderators operate in shifts and thus be able to see new posts immediately on a daily page, and numbered starting at midnight.
Considering the success my rigid rules and quick enforcement has brought--I would like to think that other forum owners would want this feature as well, because if your forum in your industry is the only "safe" one, then you will experience what I have.  After all members are either taught the new way or removed, the end result is a wonderful community that debates the topics and does not get personal.
I have disabled the current IPS system of requiring a number of warnings or reports before a post is hidden, as by the time that number is hit--an offending post, (such as politics) has already offended half the reading audience.  We need to jump on impolite conduct, improper language or political opinions immediately and we cannot with the current system.
I need a moderation system that can accommodate my needs for this forum as Disqus did for a blog.  Is this something that can be added?  (Soon?)
    My thanks,
    Charles

Zdeněk Tůma reacted to Pavel Chernitsky in Can We Haz Blog Statistics?
Being a fairly large community with quite a lot of traffic (in our country, relative to other site/communities in our niche) we started encouraging members to use our site as a platform for their own independent content.

So herein lies the question - we have statistics for forums, for clubs, even for the gallery. Why not have statistics for blogs? I've looked for plugins but there aren't any.
something like a youtube creators dashboard that will allow members who have blogs to view simple stats like total & average post views, total & average comments, view trend graph (hourly/daily) high/low activity hours and such, that way they make better informed decisions about their content. such simple stats can be extrapolated and used to learn when to post, what to write about or how long should the posts be etc.
feel free to add those statistics to
If not, or at least in the meanwhile, we'll settle for a view count on the post "blocks" for now.
Thank you for reading this, and for totally agreeing with everything I wrote and working tirelessly to implement every single feature I've requested (and more) as soon as possible.
I've even added a design idea for the icon. you're welcome (No. of course I'm serious):

Create a new group. There are some settings, that are not available for users but for the group. Move the bot to the new group, then exclude the group from leaderboard, reactions, filtering in search, force anonymous login, forbid ignoring and so on. To close profile from everyone try this plugin

If the only option in the dropdown is topic, it should direct straight the to topic creation part. A dropdown for one item, and an extra click currently.

    Hello again, @Zdeněk Tůma
I regret to inform you that I and perhaps others here are not seeing the full picture. It could be a good indicator of why no one else has chimed in.   When I originally took it upon myself to provide you with some peer to peer assistance, you had written that your IP might have been blocked.

I see you have edited your post to correct that, but the other half of your post continues how you used different IP addresses, which I presume you would not do unless you had good reason to suspect an issue with your initial IP address.
You said you use Cloud IPB?  To answer the original inquire, 'what should you do?'  I advise you strongly to continue to work with support in resolving this issue.  And in the future, when asking your peers to help you, please be as forthcoming as possible.
  25. Thanks
Zdeněk Tůma reacted to Linux-Is-Best in REST API error
Your CDN (content delivery network), Amazon Cloudfront, should have a simple method to purge your stale (old) content. You may wish to double-check that you have not banned or otherwise blacklisted any IP addresses via your server. If you are using managed hosting, you may want to check with your hosting provider. If you are using a proxy DNS service, such as Cloudflare, you may wish to double-check this too (I know you have not stated that you do, but I figure I toss that one out there just in case).
Failing all this, I would suggest you hire a system administrator.
